I'm pretty sure that was a flash forward to when William eventually passes away. They found a way to take Lost's non-linear timeline frickery and crank it to 11.

I watched the pilot with my wife and now this show is a guilty pleasure show for me. I'm not going to lie, I love this show. Maybe because I'm a dad of 4 kids, I don't know. Last nights episode with Randall being tested as gifted and how he didn't want to be different from his siblings and the moment with Jack choked me up a bit.

I just want to reiterate my undying support of Randall and how he is easily the best new character on television

I loved it. I haven't responded so positively to a pilot since Parenthood, which was one of the best tv dramas ever produced in my opinion.

I just started watching tonight, my first thought was this is the next Parenthood.

Anyone see last night's episode? That final scene at the dinner table with Randall was intense!

This show keeps delivering every week.

It's weird seeing Lilly from the at&t commercials with short hair

Milana Vayntrub is adorable. I hope they make Sloane more than just a random cameo with a short arc.

We were thrilled to see that Dr. K come out on the other side of surgery, but that's a helluva cliffhanger. Thankfully it's just a couple of weeks till the show comes back.

Man this show hits you in the feels every damn week. Glad it's coming on now that I have kids of my own too because it gives you a different perspective that I think would otherwise be missed.

Also that last few minutes was very well done. The misdirection of thinking that the doctors are feverishly working on Dr. K and it turns out to be Toby

Just give Sterling Brown all the awards now

Great cameo by Jimi Simpson. Wonder if we will see him more

He is the best thing on the show. I tear up every single frickin episode. It's definitely because i'm a dad now with a 7 month old son. Watching these father/son moments get me every time.

TBH I'm not going to lose sleep if they kill off Toby. I know he apologized and chose Kate over cake but he's still the worst. That being said, I went to IMDB to see how many episodes he's listed in, so I feel pretty confident that I have a handle on how this heart attack situation works out.

Sterling Brown is the emotional epicenter of this show, and if he doesn't get nominated for an Emmy I expect riots.

Great show. No surprise at all that they JUST HAD TO HAVE a gay character. I'm sick of shows doing this. No problem with the gay community but dang does it have to shoved down our throats in every show?

You prefer they show the alternative?

I started watching this show with the wife because she wanted to, but I have to say that I am enjoying it.

Damn near started balling in front of my GF in episode 9 when William gets so excited that he has the opportunity to reconnect with young Randall again, only to find that Rebecca had left already.

That's the most emotional i've been in a while.

Let there be no doubt, there will be consequences and repercussions if SKB gets snubbed at the Emmys. Actually, though, I think that's the safest bet of all. Is there a Vegas line on Emmy nods?
