Band of Brothers is among the rare pieces of film that is basically flawless.

Band of Brothers is in a league of its own.

By the end, someone was cutting onions in my room. Hats off to the greatest generation for sacrifices my generation can’t even fathom.

This is how I feel. It’s that good.

Tried watching The Pacific right after, and as lauded as that one is, I couldn’t make it to ep2 because it seemed a step down from BoB. I know I didn’t give it a fair shake, but this thread has me wanting to give it another go this week.

I watched the pacific right after after bob and they aren’t even in the same league. I found myself losing interest quickly with the pacific. The pacific follows three guys at war and their struggles back home. Bob only stayed at war and followed several guys.

Seriously, I wouldn't watch it for the first time unless you really have the time to sit in front of a big TV and really take it in. You don't want your first viewing while on a treadmill or on your phone.
