I knew Theo in HS and College.

He is a good dude. His style of comedy is pretty much spot on with how he was back then. There is no act with him.

I've tried to listen to him on Rogan's podcast and can't take more than a few minutes.

At this point there is probably more money in a top podcast than being a middling stand up, anyway.

Both industries are in a boom right now. If he secures his latest special with Netflix then that middling money will look real good.

Also the podcast leads to sold out stand up shows around the country and those guys get a cut of the sales usually.

I think he said on another podcast that he was damn near broke like a year and a half ago, then he goes on Rogan and his podcast takes off and he’s flush

No doubt. He's probably got the 3rd biggest fanbase as far as Joe Rogan's comedy friends go (Joe Segura's podcast has a huge fanbase).

I thought Theo was hilarious on Road Rules back in the day and rooted for the guy because he went to LSU. It’s been crazy seeing how popular he’s become over the past year or so and his podcast with Riff Raff was hilarious. I can see where he comes off as trying too hard sometimes but his on the fly thought process is next level like an earlier poster said. Going to see his stand up in october.

Segura might be the richest out of all them. His podcast is behind Rogans but his stand up is well ahead of Rogans

I’ve heard other comedians talk about he’s the smartest business guy in comedy as well

As is the Tom & Bert podcast, 2 bears 1 cave. They've only done 3 eps but it's becoming one of my favorites.

Segura is hilarious. His wife on the other hand annoys the ever loving shite out of me.

Yeah, Theo never attended LSU if I remember correctly (I went to HS with his cousin). But he is a fairly big LSU fan.

I worded my email question unfairly.

I shouldn’t have asked if it’s ok to like him because I do, it was more of “how is he thought of in the comedy world” since I’ve never heard of him

Yeah I can’t listen like I used to because she can get annoying and they can get stuck on bits for too long after the joke has been beat to death.

Everytime they introduce something new it comes with 10 minutes of her going “OKAYY OKAYYYY THATS ENOUGHH IVE SEEN ENOUGH OKAYYYY OKAYYYY YOU CAN STOP NOW I DONT WANT TO WATCH IT”

They seem to be doing somewhat of a split now with his new podcast with Bert and her restarting her own podcast that has been dormant since their last kid
