fricking hated that dude
but that line was pretty good. Omar was the best, but I even liked Barksdale more than Marlo. I might have a different opinion watching it all again, but he came across acting too tough. I didn't get why he was the chosen one.

Yeah I'd say so too.
it definitely took a few episodes to get into it though. It kind of reminded me of my job (dock worker). So at first I was like, what the hell, I don't want to see this but it sure does tie into to everything later on.

That is insane man. I just finished season 1 last night too. Hopefully it gets better because seemed a little slow to me.

Season 2 is great. Probably my 2nd favorite season of the Wire.

I've watched The Wire start to finish twice and I don't understand why so many people rank S2 so low. It's actually my favorite season.

For me, it just felt kinda out if place a little. And that's not really a bad thing at all, but it does lower the rank a bit for me. However, it's still great television though.
I agree with what someone said about how season 2 is almost like a stand alone series in itself.

The more times I watch it (the series from beginning to end), the more I like Season 2. It takes a little while to see the beauty in it imo.
Other than the last season, which is still good, they are all perfection.
