You do your thing I will do mine. It is common zombie knowledge you never light them on fire.

When you take high ground and start shooting, this is just IMO, you will run out of ammo before you run out of dead to shoot. There are about 5 million people in Atlanta. Seems to me a really high percentage of infection you do the math. Me and mine will be shutting the f up and staying far from your group.

No its not, but its still a general reference as compared to 5 episodes of a show that has given very little info on the dead.

I don't like how fast the dead are. it seems like this trend started with Zombieland and now is here in TWD. zombies are supposed to be slow as shite and take you down either by surprise or by sheer numbers. A running zombie is bullshite IMO.

I agree, but remember this is NOT World War Z so STFU and ask J. Cocks if this is acceptable zombie behavior according to the Walking Dead zombie behavior rule book...

I kid, I kid...

Y'all are completely missing the point. I said do this after being in a place like they are now and trying to establish the safest zone possible around them. They start by clearing the immediate area as quietly as possible and finding as much ammo and explosives as possible. Then you can start extending your perimeter and reestablishing some normalcy. You control your area, you can't bitch up forever and hide underground until your supplies run out. If you choose to stay in the city like they are and they have 5 capable men who have been somewhat battle tested and seem to be pretty decent shots, it's time to do work. and AGAIN you have to be smart about it and have escape routes and shite before you go off busting caps. Most military bases are full of nice little hiding/safe spots to duck down as long as you need to. You could make this your playground and take the fight to them, it's probably the one place you can do this.

Oh please do stay away. My group of warriors don't really need a bunch of non producing supply users anywhere near us.

light jogging is all I've seen them do and that's only during a frenzy. For the most part they are pretty slow. They have always overcome the few people we've seen killed so far because of hesitation.

No you're absolutely right. These dumb, slow zombies that can't climb ladders can control their body weight and walk along the bottom of a lake or ocean and somehow still know exactly where you are above them without using their sense of smell or hearing. Not only that, but I'm sure they can breast stroke to your boat if need be, shite, why stop there, they might even know how to use scuba gear.

Again I say, this is all just my opinion. But the threat is not a single zombie on a mission to find your hiding spot or your island its a horde of them moving in all directions aimlessly that happen upon your sanctuary. They will be drawn into the water when they see your fire, hear your boat, etc. Not all of them will make it. None may make it, but if one does come ashore then someone gets bit, hides it you could have problems.

Zombies have been a fun pastime for me over the last year or so. I have read tons of books, blogs and short stories.

Most agree that zombies will move under water. Even George Romero movies show zombies moving and killing under water.

These are my personal feelings on how to survive in this world, which may be different from how one would survive in the undead world of this TV series.

Yeah and I'm sure she could control her body weight with the current and probably have the skill to walk along the bottom and all. And if they aren't breathing, what is all the grunting and air coming out of their lungs? These frickers do not walk under, on or in water. Plus it would destroy all of their senses that lead them to humans i.e. smell and hearing.

That bitch wouldn't last 5 minutes with the hardheads and crabs in Lake Pontchartrain.

I can suspend disbelief but not the laws of physics. I don't give a frick if it is the strongest zombie ever, the motherfricker is not walking across the bottom of the mississippi or any other fast moving body of water. I have WWZ on the way from amazon so I am dying to see how the author deals with marine life (add sharks and alligators to my previous post), the zombie's lack of senses underwater and pressure at depth. How the frick could a zombie walk through the marsh. If my foot gets stuck in the mud I would lose a shoe. A zombie would most likely lose its leg(s) at some point and be immobilized.

A camp in the marsh is looking better every second.

Here is another problem I have. Zombies seem to devour any humans they come across. The remains after they are finished eating all of the muscle wouldn't appear to make a very viable new zombie.

The ones you see walking around got away like Amy. Probably isolated in a house or something like Magical Negro's wife.

All I'm saying is from this thread I can deduce who I want in my survival pack of wolves (no particular order):

1. LSUZombie- Knowledge and logistics.

2. Michael J. Cocks- Ingenuity and Demolition skillz/logistics.

3. Terd Ferguson- Humor, Renegade, Zombie fricker (the original one night stand that ends with a bullet)

4. Cocomo- logistics and balances Terd.

5. Klark Kent- Zombie killa, Wild Man, Warrior.

6. WhoDoo- Sacrificial diversion when we get into a hot zone.

7. MeatLoaf- Compassionate, something to look at, breeder (protect her vagina at all costs).
