Some things are better left unanswered, and left up to the veiwers imagination.

I like to go with, "this is our extinction act".

I'm sure it'd be a money maker but maybe I'm getting TWD apathy. This show needs something new to mix it up a bit. I liked the sickness thing. Though apparently penicillin kills it.

I hope we don't end up trading one governor for another.

I'd like to see some extreme survival nonsense. Cannibals, etc.

Well write him a letter, because honestly it's not that big of a fricking deal. I mean, chicken and egg and what not.

Also another sign your wiki quote is old, in your quote it's clear as well.

quote:

Kirkman explained that going back to explain how the government originally collapsed, "...doesn't interest me, for the time being...I may change my mind eventually."[3] As to the cause of the zombie outbreak, Kirkman wrote, "I have ideas [about the cause of the zombie plague]...but it's nothing set in stone because I never plan on writing it. So yes...I do know...kind of."[4]

Not gonna happen. Although they went to the CDC the show isn't about curing the zombies. It's about surviving in the new world with them and just how far people will go to survive

Exactly.

The Walking Dead isnt a representation of the "Walkers"

Its about the survivors. All them either "Dead since the apocalypse" The old them died a long time ago.

I mean people inside these agencies are not immune to the virus... what if it started out airborne or waterborne? These agencies would have collectively been taken down from the inside. It's about pandemic numbers, even if slow and stupid sheer numbers can overwelm.

I was really just being funny. The show does have alot of inconsistencies and plot holes though. But these are the things that drive these conversations and keep the show popular. But seriously though, has anyone ever thought about why are there no buzzards eating the walkers? I know you can't put them in the show, but logically buzzards would be eating the shite out walkers

Yeah, that quote is about the government falling, not the source of the outbreak.

I'm gonna go ahead and quote myself:
quote:

Non-readers: I have no idea what the comic is about, and I don't want to, and I don't want to be spoiled. And even though I don't known where the group is going, this show is still moving slow and I hate it. frick having patience and understanding, I'm not watching anymore. Please don't spoil the show for me.

Readers: The comic is nothing like the show, so why is everyone freaking out?

Because in the grand scheme of things this is not a story about how the zombies came to be it is survival in a post apocalyptic world and what lengths good or bad people will go to in order to survive. geeez

I have trouble believing that Governors group trusted him enough to follow him into battle. I feel like everyone but the tank guy after seeing him kill Hershel would have said "Scew this!" and ran to to the woods. No way they would have stormed that prison.

Well it is airborne because every one carries it now and it activates as soon as you die. But it wouldn't make sense that it could make some people instantly die and turn into zombies and not others. And since this is the case that they are already exposed to it. Getting bitten by one wouldn't matter.

I believe they saw the prison as a sure fire way to survive, take a risk now for protection in the future.

Some people die from peanut allergies, like any virus of pathogen some people can have serious reactions. Maybe when the virus hit it reannimated all the recently dead and shite went from there.

Except getting bitten kills you. There's that to worry about.

Dead coming back to life, no telling what they've been through the past year. Put an AR in their hands to follow a tank to have safety. Never know.

It was dumb how they actually "stormed" though. Any decent shot in cover with an M4 could have picked most of them off the way they were in the open.

I believe it's been said that the bite is full on skank arse, so toxic with shite it kills very quickly, then you turn from the shite already in you.

The infection from the bite kills you. Not the bite itself. Like super gangrene.

The virus is dormant, and the bite is the reagent that activates the virus. LIkewise, as someone said with peanut allergy, no telling how many got sick and died simply from acquiring the virus.
