He looked super disturbed in every single scene they showed him. Giving up his booty hole in exchange for drugs, housing, Xbox, and guns was weighing on him. Good that it only happened to his dumb arse since he pointed guns at people all the time including the doc cameraman, something you're taught at 3 years old not to do.

The craziest thing is all this shite is real life and actually happened, and not some fun Kenny Powers Mockumentary. Joe had something like over 225 animals but was “broke as shite” trying to feed them expired wal-mart meat, while running for Governor? It’s sad how much of this is still going on today.

I’m suprised how little and how briefly they talked about drugs involved in all this

I promise you all these dudes are probably involved in enough drug shite to get the DEA ears to twitch

I thought the manager who sold joe out was going to OD in that last episode.

How did Joe need 15k to open that pizza joint ?

Not to be the "actually" guy but that's not what happened. The tiger mauled her arm but didn't rip it off. She even had limited use of her hand in the hospital but they told her it would take 2 years of surgeries to repair it so she had them surgically amputate and went back to work a week later.

Wow I don’t know if you realize how complete of an a-hole you sounded like with this man. We saw the doc and we heard what she said too. I was trying to prove a point about him asking if she was okay wasn’t that crazy of a thing to do

Jeff Lowe for sure has a reserved booth at his local twin peaks for UFC fight nights

Seriously, all the people in joe’s world had to be spun out. A sober person doesn’t sleep in disgusting shitholes that they were.

Lowe strikes me as someone that loves cocaine or at least always has it on him for his whores

I could definitely see buying balloons off of joe’s crew outside a panic or phish show

I’m not surprised a guy like Joe got swindled. Just drive him around in a sports car, show him a nice house, show some pics of you in a VIP room in Vegas, then mention the stock market while wearing Affliction.

How probably thought the dude was basically Warren Buffet

Yeah Joe was like “I’m giving these people a chance”

Feel like the only way to have drug fiends be that loyal to you is if you are supporting their habit directly

That may have been were the real conflict started between Jeff Lowe and the staff at the zoo, he prob refused to keep that revenue going to buy them all drugs

I’m just spitballing here tho

I think there is a lot to just giving the cast offs some meaning in life.

I am just guessing their lifestyle was nasty combo of uppers and downers. Especially given that most of these people came into zoo around the height of the Oxy boom.

Right, it's pretty simple. Joe needed money, and Jeff conned him. To top it off, Joe was too stupid to do any due diligence on Jeff prior to partnering with him.

This is the most fascinating documentary I’ve watched in several years. Amazing!

McMillions could definitely take some notes from this masterpiece.

Joe was prepared to bend the knee to carol until Jeff came along. Got brazen again once he thought he had the backing of a wealthy person

bankrupting his parents kind of got glossed over in the sea of insanity

Feel like a lot of crazy shite did. Would have to rewatch to remember half of it.

Wish we could have taken 4 episodes of McMillions and given it to this doc instead

I don’t mean to start any fights on here, but Joes music could easily pass for a top 10 current country song right now ?

He had nothing to do with the songs, he hired a country band and softly sang over the tracks

“For a long time, Joe told everyone he was dying from prostate & bone marrow cancer. He raised $$$ from his Facebook fans for his expenses. He showed me this horrifying photo as proof.
