"Westerns were made for bloodshed, and “The Sisters Brothers” delivers as expected." - NY Times

Trailer

Just noticed this flick was given a wider release. Thought i'd remind others, as there has been very little promo for this film. which is surprising given the cast, and the reviews have been solid. Read the book when it came out several years ago, and loved it. I'm excited.

Directed by Jacques Audiard (Rust & Bone, A Prophet, The Beat that my Heart Skipped)

Watched it last night. Normally I'm a nerd for this kind of film, but nothing great about the movie, imo. Not that it was the worst thing ever, or anything like that, the storyline just seemed lacking. Or maybe it was just me asking what's the point? Music was jarringly inappropriate for the scenery. Acting was decent. 6/10 overall.

Don't know how good the rating are for this movie, but it's an excellent cast. Since it's out now, I might check it out.
