Okay, I've avoided the thread...is this show worth watching? I didn't get a chance to catch it last night, but I recorded it. But I don't wanna waste my time if it sucked.

It's a bit out there. Kind of LOST/Fringe out there. A little different, but if you have the time I'd recommend at least checking it out. Visually it looks pretty cool too.

Now we have the mark of the beast shite

That mark looked like the necklace he gave his son. Maybe she's "the child" that is supposed to do something great.

I thought, overall, it was decent. Can't wait to see where it goes. Although I think it'll only be a one season show. There's no way they can drag this out over multiple seasons.

It was more like Lost and Blair Witch.

I was really pumped for this show. It has lots of potential, unfortunately it's looking like it's going to be pretty damned stupid.

I watched the first hour of this God-awful show on dvr last night.

There are so many moments (like those from really bad horror movies) that are so dumb, its unwatchable.

I.E. fiding a boat that ppl have been looking for months for, the crew has disappeared, and a (very ominous) vault-like door on board has been welded shut. So what is the first thing the completely amateur rescue party (also dumb) does?

Saw that bitch open.

Spoilers

There is a giant maneating dragonfly behind the door.

They explained that the boat was on a part of the river that was "closed off" for a reason, and that it wasn't on any map. Although with satellite imaging and helicopter/plane flyovers, it should have been easy to spot.

As for them opening the door, they thought one of their people were in there because they heard the knocking sound, so the first thing I would do is open it up to see who's in there. Why would you expect anything different?

Overall i thought it was a pretty entertaining show. Sort of a Lost/Blair witch mesh. I kept me interested. I'll finish the season to see where this goes.

Just watched it last night. I think the only thing that hurts it is being on a basic cable show so they can't actually push the limits too far. I'm going to watch it because I loved Lost but I'm worried this might suck like it seems Alcatraz will. That and because the blond is hot as hell.

A lot of basic cable shows push the limits. Its the fact that its on a network that creates limitations.

Yea when I said basic I meant one of the big 3. They usually won't take a huge risk, either way I hope this show is good. Cgi at least doesnt look terrible so far (ie lost with the submarine).

We wanted to love this show but after an hour and 10 minutes turned it off. The LOST pilot was 10 times better. I'll check back in a few months to see if they find Emmett. Enjoy.

Just wasted 1:45 minutes. Turned it off & deletedd the last 15 min. It plays kind of like a wanna be Blair Witch project, which I also greatly disliked. Cancelled recordings of the next two.

I was thinking Anaconda meets The Blair Witch Project when I saw the trailer......is that a fair assessment of the show?

Episode 2

Marbeley - When Jahel becomes possessed by Emmet Cole's spirit, Tess becomes undeterred from her goal of finding clues to her husband's whereabouts. And when the team discovers a tree draped in children's dolls, an old legend reminds them that the dolls ward off the "spirit of the abandoned girl." But when a crew member disappears, Tess realizes she must endure the ongoing horrors in order to reunite her family.

cant wait!

I'm in. Still not sure how I feel about the show, but will probably watch all 6 episodes.
