I think it's more likely that it ends up being Jennifer Walters. We know that She-Hulk gets her powers from Banner's blood, and that in the MCU, the Hulk resulted from an attempted recreation of the serum. Also, that's how Blonsky gets his powers and there's still samples of Banner's blood left at Stern's lab...

Plus, I just want to see Aubrey Plaza playing She-Hulk.

As cool as Walters is, I'm not sure she could work. I don't want a CGI She-Hulk, and I'm not sure there's someone with acting chops big enough to play her.

I agree with that. She Hulk can't be cgi...it just doesn't work. The girl playing Mockingbird could have worked.

Also, She-Hulk is a character who is just about everywhere. avengers, ff, running with Murdock, etc.

As far as new Avengers-is the WonderMan thing really going to happen?

Aisha Tyler is 6 feet and has the right personality for Jen Walters, given her work on Archer. Gwendoline Christie is now the go-to tall person, but I don't want a Brit playing Shulkie. Or you could pull someone from the ranks of pro wrestling. I'm not familiar with WWE other than it exists, but I'm sure they have someone who could play She-Hulk. Maybe Casey Wilson from Happy Endings.

I don't want him in Guardians, or being portrayed by Fillion, that means he's a bit part, not a long term character. Wonder Man is a fun character, so I don't want him waste.

True, I didn't think about her, good call.

Jen Walters is only about 5'5 in human form. She's not that tall.

She-Hulk, on the other hand, is over 7 feet tall in Hulk form. She HAS to be CGI or at least some creative camera work (like the giants in Game of Thrones or how 6'0+ John Rhys-Davies looks 4 foot tall in LOTR)

It's too bad she already appeared in Agents of SHIELD, as Amy Acker has the look, presence and personality to play her, maybe even Jennifer Carpenter from Dexter/Limitless.

Jen Walters is a really insecure person so you need someone that can really appear vulnerable.

Right, but I think she was most interesting when she preferred She-Hulk and later when she couldn't transform.

And if you were going with an always on, or mostly on She-Hulk (since she doesn't go savage like Hulk), I'd just rather non or limited CGI.

I can't recall the last time I've seen Walters in human form. With her intelligence intact there is no reason to ever be in human form.

10 years ago and Fillion signing on for multiple movies and I would be super excited. It would be great casting.

Now...and knowing the kind of part Fillion had in GotG, it makes me sad for Simon.

Yeah, every so often the writers get a bug up their arse and make She-Hulk able to transform into human form, but it's always a waste, since She-Hulk has the same cognitive ability. Shulkie isn't pure id like the Hulk. There's no need to have Walters except as a "before", and they already proved they can do the 80-pound wuss thing with Chris Evans.

During one of the storylines, Stark injected her with a solution that permanently returned her to human form. She responded by hitting him with a massive series of legal actions driving him close to bankruptcy.

I think the exact line was, "As She-Hulk, I might have beaten you to a pulp, but as Jennifer Walters, I will ruin you".

Also, She-Hulk's strength is proportional to how strong Walters is. The more muscle mass and strength Jenn puts on, the stronger She-Hulk is.

They had Martin Freeman holding a clipboard in Civil War. You don't just start plug and playing with new heroes expecting the same results without big name actors. Look at the recent batch of more obscure characters that enjoyed or will enjoy success.

Doctor Strange - Cumberbatch.
Daredevil - Bernthal.
Jessica Jones - Tennant.

I'm seeing a lot of pretty obscure names thrown around for leading roles in movies. Not happening.
