Another good episode. The Krill reminded me of the Scarrans on Farscape

Goddamn DirecTV. My OnDemand hasn't been working for weeks so I still haven't seen past episode 2.

Gordon had all the great lines last night. Yall catch him mumble "Katniss Everdeen" during the temple scene? "My New Leg!" after getting stabbed in the leg

Show seems to be finding it's legs and is getting better each week. It is my favorite new show so far this fall season.

You're right. It's just a good show that mixes Scifi, comedy, drama, character building, and story very well. I like it.

was anybody else as uncomfortable as I was every single time Gordon would open his mouth? Like common dude, you are the most horrible "undercover" person of all time

Great episode tonight. What will the children do? So Poignant

My second favorite so far behind the 4th episode "If the Stars Should Appear". I wonder if the little Krill who was so interested in Earth will turn out to be like TNG's young borg "Hugh".

Captain makes necessary decision and the very ones he meant to help may hate him because of it, or will they? Good stuff !!!

It looks like you can watch all the episodes "on-line" for free here.
https://www.fox.com/the-orville/?cmpid=org=fbc::ag=360i::mc=cpc::src=google::cmp=the-orville::add=the_orville

Fox Go is also available on Roku and other players. Since you have DirecTv you should be able to watch it on one of them.

My Roku channels quit working every so often. I have to log out and then log back in for them to work.

You're right but with lines like "Avis, the god that tries harder." It knows where to leave it's humorous mark.

Thanks, you can now, and I got caught up
I think when I had tried that previously it was asking me to pick a provider and log in. I think.

Anyway, hooked on the show now. Really enjoyable. Even the bit parts are written well. Norm MacDonald should probably win an Emmy for "This may seem a little blunt, but you are the first white woman I've ever found attractive."

Looked at the IMDB and saw they're not just using strong guest stars, but also directors. Several Star Trek TNG alums including Commander Riker have directed.

Overall, this is turning into a much more engrossing show than I expected.

Caught the replay of last episode on demand last night.

Wow...talk about a set up. Ed' s compassion will doom his ship and the Union.

I assumed this was a comedy.

Naming the ship "the Orville" sort of signaled it being a comedy or farce to me. But, watching the first episode, it wasn't an all out comedy.

Why is the ship named the Orville? Only someone trying to be funny would do that. IRL, do you really think that name would stick?

Naming a ship after one of the Wright Brothers? That's crazy!

USS Wright
