The official title of Die Hard 6 is "McClane"

The film is both a prequel and a sequel. The prequel part of it takes place in the late-70s when John McClane was just a rookie beat cop on the streets of New York. I'm assuming the events of the present day will be related to what happened when McClane was younger.

Bring back Zeus & Powell, cast Christopher Waltz as a third Grueber brother, title it “Old Habits Die Hard”, & end the damned franchise on a high note.

Dude, no you are not. You went to Russia specifically to save your son. At no point while in the US did you mention a vacation. I know that's the least of that flick's problems, but it really made me grind my teeth.

I actually love this idea. I love the Die Hard original trilogy especially 1 and 3, 4 was decent, and 5 was awful. This ties 1 and 3 together, gives some nostalgia, and closes it out with another Grueber.
So of course they'll do something like 5. And probably get Riann Johnson to direct it.

I liked that one.
Surfing a fighter jet might've been a bit absurd as well as that jet shooting rockets on a US freeway, but it was enjoyable.
