During GoT, you have your 3-4 various episode threads, then a handful of others started for whatever random thought has popped into a poster's head.

Now I wish I would have made that thread this summer, but I figured it was pointless complaining. Plus, when I have made comments either 1) I get mocked by the GoT throngs or 2) They defend the need for multiple threads

But NOW threads are a problem. 8-10 threads on any one thing is too many, I agree. But if GoT gets it's 3-4 threads per episode, which is too many anyways, plus all of the random thoughts, then so should everything else. Just saying.

Why does having Star Wars threads on Page 3 matter, does anyone really go to page 3 to read stuff, or only to look for something specific?

I agree about the various episode threads being too much at this point, when everyone is all caught up, but earlier in the show I can understand the need for multiple threads due to spoilers.

This is so far beyond your typical GoT season though. No, nobody needs to go to page three to look for something. It's just that it's been a new thread started every hour for the past week.

I'm really not complaining. I've been trying to stay away this week more than usual.
