I intentionally avoided all spoilers this week and I am so glad I did... I didn't believe Hit was going to be eliminated until I saw him appear in the stands....wow....another great episode.

So now Jiren has a "worthiness" forcefield???!!??? What the hell, I guess we won't see him fight again for probably another month or so. I've read therories and now I'm starting to really wonder just what or who Jiren is....and I'm starting to get the impression something Kosher may not be going on here. Is he a demon recruited for the trournament?? Is he a proxy of Belmont somehow and actually a fake mortal?? The more we find out about him, the more things seem to get fishier and fishier about where he gets his strength from.

yeah, I am not sure what to think of Jiren's power.

I think it was said earlier (by Whis iirc) that Jiren was stronger than the Gods of Destruction.

IF SSG Goku was a 6 on a Gods of Destruction scale (with Gods being a 10) and then of course Goku got much much stronger since that arc, it is feasible that he is a 9 now in his Kaoiken SSGSSB form. So with the Gods reaction to Goku's new form, but the lack of real reaction from the angels, it is possible that Goku was stronger than the Gods in that form. Let's say a 12.

Do we think Jiren is a 14 and almost as the angels level and still greatly outclassing Goku or is he a 12 or 13 and still no match for an angel?

Yeah hate to see Hit get taken out, but I guess someone’s gotta go. I thought the episode was really well done.

Thought that was a classy move by ol’ Freiza. Tbh I thought Frieza was gonna do something messed up and someone was just gonna slide Goku outta there last minute.

Increasingly interested in what’s going on with Jiren. There’s definitely some connection going on with he and Belmond, more than we know anyway.

Also can Ribrienne just die already?

I know that the show has been making us focus on Jiren but what about these two invisible people? We at least know that Universe 7 people can sense ki or whatever so like they should be able to find them if push comes to shove eh?

Supposedly a brand new character is coming in a couple episodes. No idea who or what or from what universe, they just showed the silhouette on a website.

Could be very interesting, but it will probably some Ribrianne fusion bullshite or something... Why the frick is she still on the show???

I feel like the only one in this thread on the pace of the dubbed version...

That being said, Faulconer's music will never be touched, but I am happy with the improvement in the Japanese music.

Yep. Took me awhile to dig up all of the old DBZ torrents with the Faulconer music option.

That silhouette was only a placeholder, they are supposedly going to look a good bit different than the shape in the ad.

There are 2 tournament characters we haven't seen in the show yet, they are both from Universe 4. Methinks there is a reason Quitela was the only God who didn't look nervous when Jiren and Goku displayed their power. He was still just smiling arrogantly. We know he isn't above using underhanded tactics to win if he thinks he can get away with it.

Anyone else thinking we either:

A) Don't truly get a winner. The tournament ends when the fighters team with the gods to stop the High Priest and at least some of the angels, after the evil plan seemingly everyone thinks he is hiding, comes to light. Then, since they were already gathered anyway, they use the super dragon balls to wish everyone back.

B) Goku wins, wishes back all of the universes that Zeno has destroyed(including the ones he destroyed before the tournament), and then he and Jiren attempt to depose the gods and angels.

C) One, or none, of the many possible scenarios regarding the gods and angels happens. But Goku when uses the super dragon balls, he doesn't wish their universes back, he wishes for all of the individuals in the erased universes to populate similar worlds in Universe 7. This would raise their mortal level to match the other universes who were exempt from the tournament and make the possible storyline of a threat from the universes destroyed before the tourney a much bigger deal for the gang to deal with.

Jiren would curb stomp Black Rose'... Hell, I think he'd defeat Zamasu arc Gogeta pretty easily too... Now an Ultra Instinct Gogeta?? ... That is a different story...

I may be misremembering the fight against black then. I thought he was holding his own against Gogeta Blue.

Ultra instinct Goku will beat him though. Ultra instinct power increases exponentially as long as the host is fighting. At least that is what i have gathered.

There is still an unknown though.

Goku has another power up lurking besides Ultra Instinct. Remember when Whis explained UI and said the power bomb energy was fueling Goku's body, he added that Goku was producing a heat He wasn't as sure about? The way he said it implied he didnt have a clue what was going on there.

And that it was very different, and separate, from the other 2.

This episode was cool enough. It kept the arc going, but I wanted to see Vegeta and Toppo more.

Fusion being a thing in the tournament is interesting...

I'm really...really tired of the two Kale and Caulifla....to me them and Ribrianne are damn near on the same level. The fact that these two are still in the tournament and Hit is gone is insane. I get it, lots of Sayian's are cool, but enough is enough.

I read that Toei reps also said there is about 20 more episodes in the tournament arc, makes sense since we're on about a 1episode = 1 minute pattern, but I still think the arc goes into another stage after the tournament fighting is finished....just too much lore has been established other than just fighting a tournament.

Just hope we get some more Vegeta and Gohan and Frieza soon ...he is becoming one of the best characters on the show. I wonder if he will kind of pull a Vegeta and become "part of the group" as the series goes on. He clearly hates them, but also seems to have a bit of Mutual respect and relationship with Goku now.

I am still holding out hope that the two remaining namekians decide to fuse with Piccolo after Kefla gets knocked out.

They'd realize they are the only U6 fighters left and with them fighting Piccolo for 5-10 minutes they realize that he has fused with other fighters and has some semblance of honor and is their only hope of survival.

I just want Piccolo to be a relevant fighter again...

I agree 100%, Ribrianne and the two sayians from universe 6 are aggravating to me. I do like how Frieza is getting more involved, he is slowly becoming one of my favorite characters as of late.

He and Gohan are still the best pairing in the history of the show. The two deserve to be at least as powerful as each other.

Glad to see a little of Gohan and Piccolo. I especially liked him kicking his arm off. Also, Kefla has to go, her and Ribrianne aggravate me. Next episode will be fun with Ultra Instinct Goku moving around like Whis.
