Now an Ultra Instinct Gogeta?? .

I may be misremembering the fight against black then. I thought he was holding his own against Gogeta Blue.

Ultra instinct Goku will beat him though. Ultra instinct power increases exponentially as long as the host is fighting. At least that is what i have gathered.

There is still an unknown though.

Goku has another power up lurking besides Ultra Instinct. Remember when Whis explained UI and said the power bomb energy was fueling Goku's body, he added that Goku was producing a heat He wasn't as sure about? The way he said it implied he didnt have a clue what was going on there.

And that it was very different, and separate, from the other 2.

I want to see more of Gohan and Piccolo’s tag teaming.. it’s cool for the 30 second glimpses we get.

This episode was cool enough. It kept the arc going, but I wanted to see Vegeta and Toppo more.

Fusion being a thing in the tournament is interesting...

I'm really...really tired of the two Kale and Caulifla....to me them and Ribrianne are damn near on the same level. The fact that these two are still in the tournament and Hit is gone is insane. I get it, lots of Sayian's are cool, but enough is enough.

I read that Toei reps also said there is about 20 more episodes in the tournament arc, makes sense since we're on about a 1episode = 1 minute pattern, but I still think the arc goes into another stage after the tournament fighting is finished....just too much lore has been established other than just fighting a tournament.

Just hope we get some more Vegeta and Gohan and Frieza soon ...he is becoming one of the best characters on the show. I wonder if he will kind of pull a Vegeta and become "part of the group" as the series goes on. He clearly hates them, but also seems to have a bit of Mutual respect and relationship with Goku now.

I am still holding out hope that the two remaining namekians decide to fuse with Piccolo after Kefla gets knocked out.

They'd realize they are the only U6 fighters left and with them fighting Piccolo for 5-10 minutes they realize that he has fused with other fighters and has some semblance of honor and is their only hope of survival.

I just want Piccolo to be a relevant fighter again...

I agree 100%, Ribrianne and the two sayians from universe 6 are aggravating to me. I do like how Frieza is getting more involved, he is slowly becoming one of my favorite characters as of late.

He and Gohan are still the best pairing in the history of the show. The two deserve to be at least as powerful as each other.

Glad to see a little of Gohan and Piccolo. I especially liked him kicking his arm off. Also, Kefla has to go, her and Ribrianne aggravate me. Next episode will be fun with Ultra Instinct Goku moving around like Whis.

Ultra Instinct is an intriguing transformation and I’m enjoying everyone’s reaction to it. Like I said previously, I feel like it’s well written into it I guess. It doesn’t have the same feeling of “well here’s just another power up.”

That being said they better not let Kefla hang around with UI Goku. She can’t be that powerful.

Exactly, UI feels like something really really special... I just wonder how they will use it going forward, maybe Goku essentially just becomes like a God of Destruction... No real power ups, he just kind of goes from base to UI... Like when the gods go from regular to that aura around them.

I just wonder what happens to Vegeta, I know he has soemthing up his sleeve, but what? Some kind of mastered Blue form? Or perhaps some kind of god form, I don't know. He and Toppo fighting is fun

They have been building UI since one of the firsts 5-ish episodes.

On King Kai's world, Goku in SS3 goes to attack Beerus, and when he does his body moves him away from Beerus on its own. He is stumped as to why, when Beerus complements his bodies instincts, as they just saved Goku from death.

I think this scene was even in the GoD movie.

I originally hated the Japanese version when I first saw it... Goku is essentially an entire different character in sub vs dub... But the more I watched it, the more I like the Japanese version of his character more and more.... Plus it's like 2 yrs ahead of the Dub.

Some of the best episodes of Dragon Ball ever have aired in the last month or so. You really do get so used to the subs you forget your even reading them.

Only problem with the subs is when I think I must know Japanese and I look down at my phone or go grab something really quick elsewhere in the room and miss important dialogue and have to rewind.

Also with the subs does Goku seem like he has a more like idk, country accent or something going that’s completely different from the other characters? (Maybe I’m just use to watching the dubs for this anime)

I just really really hate the noises Goku makes in the sub when he is fighting.

a very very girlish atatatatatatata

Yes he has a very Country accent... That's another reason why I now prefer Japanese Goku to The US version. The American version isn't true to the real character. You have to remember Goku is an absolute bumpkin...he was raised in backwoods arse Japan (or wherever the hell they're supposed be) essentially by himself...just go watch the first few episodes of original Dragon Ball it's all there.

Grandpa Gohan died when he was a little kid and he basically stayed miles and miles in the woods with no power or modern conveniences and had never even seen another person before Bulma showed up when he was like 13 or 14. He was raised as an absolute hillbilly.

In the Japanese version he's essentially still just that bumpkin who wants who loves martial arts and a simple life and a orderline retarded sometimes, child-like way of thinking.

In the U.S. version they eseentislly tried to make him Captain America or 1980s Hulk Hogan... A righteous, above-it-all character who defends the helpless and so on and so on... Really he's just one ultra badass hick who cares more a out fighting than his family or real life.

Edit in response to comment about his voice:

The reason he sounds girly in the sub is because he's voiced by like an 80 year old Japanese woman... She's done his voice for basically 30 years now. She does Gohan's voice too I believe. It took some getting used to, but I like it better than the American voice now... That one's just too cheesy.
