Easily on of the greatest episodes of DBZ. I could watch that episode 1000 times and never get tired of it. That one scene is fricking epic, so many great quotes.
Is it safe to say that majority of us favor Vegeta over any other DBZ character?

I agree on Gohan and Piccolo, but as far as overall, Vegeta is the shite.

I know, but him dropping the earring and getting absorbed was lame.
Also, the whole Saiyaman saga...
I like to imagine him going ham against the Cell Jrs and Cell was the absolute peak of DBZ.

Him against Buu is my favorite Gohan. Take that back Gohan from history of Trunks is my favorite.

Vegeta is my favorite character in the series.
Followed very closely by Piccolo.
Gohan going SSJ2 v. Cell is my favorite moment in the series.
Mystic Gohan v. Buu is probably my favorite fight in the series. Although that swaps places daily with SSJ Goku v Frieza.
I love all the parallels between Goku v Frieza and Gohan v cell. Someone dying senslessly to trigger it, and unbeatable villain who gets to cocky, the hero then getting to cocky, the villain making one last effort then the hero coming through, it's fun as hell to watch those back to back

Gohan was completely wasted as a character. He was a badass for about an episode in the Buu saga and then they just throw him out the window.
His highest point was beating Cell.
After that he became a bum.

After cell he was poised to take over as the strongest and step into Goku's shoes, but they never went that direction. The achilles heal of DBZ after cell was the inability to let anyone take over as the main hero for Goku. Ever.
Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo all could've had excellent story lines after cell. But we got the Dr recycled Goku shite and it annoyed me. Sometimes they'd go as far as to set it up perfectly then be like uppppp Goku needed.
