The cat is the murderer. The cat now murders Stone. Naz impregnates his lawyer. Anything is possible at this point.
But really I think he gets off and is now Freddy's man on the streets. He does a hit for Freddy and ends up back in prison.

of all of the dumb moments in the series....this one might have been it for me. Where the fk did this come from? They show them through the security camera after. I'm guessing that this comes up in court in the finale.

Yeah, that was bad.
Also, that is a highly educated attorney working for a major firm and she is gorgeous.
I don’t think she’s falling for a nerdy, poor Muslim guy in prison for murder with no options in life and with Sin Bad tattooed on his knuckles.

I don’t think they even bring it up. They have had so many things like that in this show where you say “ohh that’s going to come up later!” and they just disappear. I mean, that list is huge. There are so many opened things they mentioned once and moved on from.
1. Blood on leaves
2. Dead body at beginning of episode
3. Brother spray painting school
4. Duane read getting chased off
5. Motorcycle guy from first episode
List goes on and on and on and on

Yeah this is a decent theory. He becomes Freddie's outside organization leader/accountant.

I tonight the Dr.Katz testimony was actually pretty good, but holy shite I can't stand listening to that prosecuter anymore.

Yeah, he was really solid. Best part of the trial so far.
That prosecutor is awful. What is going on with her face and voice? Its like she had so much plastic surgery she can't move her mouth anymore.

What was with the kiss in the jail cell? That seemed really unecessary, unless the flashback type of things going on were supposed to tell us Kapoor was just trying to get a "feel" for if she really thought Nas could do something like this.
Other than that, I have no idea why that happened and it doesn't seem to fit Kapoor's character.
PS, Dr. Katz was great.

There's a LOT to wrap up, so the final episode should move pretty quickly.
Free advice: Don't bet rent money on this.

In the finale, Stone finds himself in the spotlight thanks to a controversy enveloping Naz's defense team.
This is the synopsis for the finale which probably means the kiss will come up in court taking Chandra off the case. Obviously that leaves Stone to make the closing statements and finish the case. Just my guess, they wouldn't have shown them kissing if it didn't matter. Same with the BJ scene I told everyone about last week.

They've shown a LOT that ended up not mattering.

She was awesome in her role as principal in kindergarten cop

I saw it coming and was muttering "dont do it don't do it don't do it" and face palmed when they kissed

Please give me an example because I feel like everything they've shown so far as a meaning to it.
Everyone freaked out over the BJ scene last week and said it was unnecessary. Well if you would have payed attention to the preview of episode you would have seen at :23 LINK Victor getting stabbed in the neck by someone. Obviously him taking advantage of Petey was the result of it.
The cat is a metaphor of Naz. Fredddy is taking care of him while he is in prison. The same is done by Stone caring for a cat locked up in his house. Even though Stone and Freddy don't need to do it, they are anyway.

That would be up to her law firm...the court has no dog in that hunt.

Either way, Stone will play some part in the closing arguements or final decisions.
Because he says in the preview "It's your life we're talking about" meaning Naz will probably have a make a decision.
Plus Stone told Chandra to avoid sailors before jury selection. What does Naz have written on his fingers? Sinbad, a Muslim sailor. She just ruined herself.

Are you serious?
This show has had like 30 red herrings and lots of stuff that was just pointless. The brother spray painting the school? The blood on the leaves (which would have been brought up with Katz if it was going to be brought up at all)?
Posted on 8/22/16 at 2:21 pm to TheCaterpillar
What's with the brother spray painting the school? I must have missed that
Posted on 8/22/16 at 2:23 pm to TheCaterpillar
Did you notice that Naz's mom took a janitorial job which just happens to be the school in which her son spray painted the lockers. I wonder who will have to clean that up?
Him doing that is only hurting his mother not his classmates.
