Yeah. I'd go over and over Jim Lee spreads and wasted tons of time from my life trying to copy him or a few others.

That’s why it was so popular with kids. It was illustration that was just wrong enough that kids thought it was something they could draw themselves. Liefeld and McFarlane were more worried about drawing cool stuff than creating realistic renderings.

Not a comic guy nearly enough to know how each got their powers. I know of the movie/ TV show versions, but how does Ms. Marvel's bracelets connect with the Tesseract powers and whatever the hell gave Proton her powers?

These are the most contrived and stupid origin stories out there.

I’ve lost all interest in these marvel movies
No hype anymore for me
Everything’s the same
Throw in some laughs and a soundtrack and an end credits scene
The tv shows are lousy
Yet they keep printing money

Is this an all female comic?

Marvels was a 4-issue limited series which showed the first appearances of a lot of the Marvel characters (the original Human Torch, Cap, Namor, the FF, etc) through the eyes of a newpaper photographer.

The art was what propelled Alex Ross to notoriety.

It seems like all they've done is taken the name and put it on a movie about three characters sharing the Marvel name.

The MCU Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel) has the depth and gravitas of crepe paper. While Bree's portrayal certainly didn't help, the character was written with zero personality. She's been made solely as a vehicle for "female empowerment". No one likes that shallow a character, especially as a hero.

Monica Rambeau hasn't had nearly enough screentime to be fleshed out. What we've gotten thus far is a secondary character with almost no development but it looks like they're trying to push her into a primary role. Before Avengers, they took the time to flesh out Cap, Tony, Bruce and Thor with their own movies and had done a bit of fleshing on Nick, Colson and Natasha. Monica? We haven't really seen her since WandaVision.

Kamala Khan. She'll be the Tom Holland's Spiderman from Civil War. She's young, will be a bit star-struck and that will feed her desire to please her "mentor". She's the only one whose been fleshed to enough of a degree to point to definite personality traits.

What this movie is about (other than "womenz pow3rsez!"), I have no idea but it's probably going to suck as the writing for Marvel offerings has taken a definite dip since WandaVision.
