Original show on Amazon that aired late November 2017. This show is pretty damn good. Love the scenes with Lenny Bruce. Alex Borstein’s character is hilarious as well. Highly recommend.

I haven't seen it at all and don't even know what it's about, but I think it did pretty good in the Golden Globe nominations.

It didn’t air in early 2017, it just released at the end of November. The trailer looks good. We’ll probably watch this soon.

It's not bad...

But it is once again, we have to prove women are funny again show. Even just some Jewish Housewife in the late 50's so it doesn't ring much true. I mean Bruce had a hard time but she's gonna waltz right in and be accepted? I don't think so.

And the comedy/writing for the stand-up isn't really good. It's way more modern than would have been back then.

But the show isn't bad by all means...just the supposed, great comedy is sort of out of place and forced...to be edgy.

I have found this to be an artistic choice on the show. They mix in dialogue that doesn’t fit with the time period as well as play music that doesn’t fit the time period (like Rebel, Rebel). There’s a bit of the edgy woman trying to be funny stuff but I don’t find it overwhelming. I find the main actresses quick wit in her conversations to be funnier than the stand up.

Yeah she's a good actress.

Like I said, I have obviously watched the show so don't hate it...but it has issues in some instances to make you want to roll your eyes.

The show is treading a thin line between quality and gimmie a break.

But everyone should give it a shot and make up their own mind. The lead is pretty damn good.

Rachel Brosnahan’s breasts are phenomenal!!!

It’s a fun show. I’m only about 3 ep in though.

Rachel Brosnahans boobs were also incredible in House of Cards, glad to hear the legacy continues. The wife and I will start this after Godless, which is also fantastic.

She fine...

I knew some snowflake was gonna come in here complaining about the pro-woman angle even though there are tons of great male characters in it. The show is great, the stand up is funny, and the drama is well done. Amy Sherman Palladino was funny with Gilmore Girls and is funny with this too.
