On G4 right now. In a Bond thread a few weeks ago, it seemed to get a lot of hate. IMO, it's better than all of the Moore and the Brosnan films minus Goldeneye.
What's the board's opinion?

I forget which dalton bond I really like

Dalton gets shite on a lot in general but I actually liked him better than Moore although I really don't care for Moore in general. Dalton just happened to not have great films to work with and odd timing of them.

Good movie. It was enjoyable and a nice change from the hamminess of the Roger Moore Bonds. It's just too bad that things didn't work out for Dalton to play the role longer because I thought he was one of the better ones.

The blonde and the Cello?
Yeah, liked that blonde.
Yeah, liked that blonde.

It didn't help that the general plot was convoluted and that, in retrospect, James Bond ended up aiding and saving the guys that became the Taliban.
But some great action and stunts, fine Bond girl and I've always liked Dalton.
License to Kill is better, though. I always enjoyed the "this is what happens when you really piss off Bond" plot.

I think it's on the better half of Bond films. Dalton is a good Bond.

view to a kill is okay

I like it. It's a strange one. Fairly political (and the muhajineed or whatever parts are pretty dated, to say the least). License to Kill is better, IMO.
