Said wtf and started watching. Comes off as young adult book but I have to say it is entertaining. A couple episodes in and I have it on par with Locke and Key

Thanks. Let me know how it goes. I posted a thread here a few days ago asking if anyone knew anything about it and didn’t get any info.

Started this the other day. Looks promising and so far I am enjoying it. I am glad to see streaming services are starting to make more sci-fi/fantasy series now. I was getting burnt out on dark gritty drama's.

Eh, they just pissed me off with a few sjw stuff that was absolutely unnecessary.

The show is good enough though but a few bad writing parts make it feel way lower than it could be.

I'm four episodes in and I would say it's better than Locke & Key. The stakes are firmly established and there's a clear progression of the main protagonist. That wasn't as evident in the formerly mentioned series, even if it was entertaining.

I told my kids about it as something they could binge while holed up.

I have it on par with Locke and Key

Man, they tried to get me to watch this with them. They had already binged it, and wanted me to watch it, so watched the 1st episode with me. After it was over, I had to break it them that with so much quality tv on right now, Dad just doesn’t think he can commit the time to Locke and Key. Did absolutely nothing for me. Then I proceeded to Tigerdroppings more in 2 days than it would have taken to watch the show.

How are y’all feeling about this with 13 and 10 year old boys? They did lost in space, raising dion, and unfortunate events fine

Locke and Key was tempting but there was a little too much scary for the 10 year old. Plus I’m still at this point not wanting on screen sex and it had an unneeded scene of that.

I’m not sheltering them, they watch plenty but I’m avoiding demonic stuff.

I'm halfway through it and don't see anything particularly bad. Knights fighting and killing each other, but not gruesome. No nudity or sex (yet).

Literally didn’t need it, did they? Horrible.

Bad guy was the most underwhelming scene I’ve ever seen in my life. He looked so cool.

Yep.

Feel like they didn't develop the bad guy more, the Asian chick more, or the red rider guy more. I also felt like they did Chirri a disservice by building up his background only to have it all be meaningless. Meanwhile, the girl that turns out to be the powerful one, we are left to guess as to her background.
