I'm sure it's been discussed but

Why couldn't they drive on the exit ramp or the embankment to get past the cars? I could clearly see the left side was open as shite. Could at least TRY to see if any of the cars are running to move them.

Out of all the guns you could get, a bolt action with no scope and a revolver is not the play.

The broken glass on the inside and in line of sight to Joel is not the play. If the glass is heard, they are already looking at Joel or on top of them.

Killing a Dr in these times are dumb af

They sure found evidence of the ppl they were looking for fast af when they put their minds to it. Wonder why nobody thought to try before?

I'm convinced movies and stories are only able to be told bc there are dumb ppl in the world and this is their story. Smart ppl don't get in these problems.

well yeah, smart people are boring

a smart person stays on backroads the entire way and makes it to Wyoming without any issues most likely

but nobody watches that show

The episode was a bit boring. Talk talk talk talk talk, fight with an infected, talk talk talk, twist, end episode.

One would think to not go into cities with all the people that could be raiders or infected. Go interstate until a certain perimeter around a city then take backroads. No raiding party would set up far from their base and the city would be an ideal area for one.

If I were a raiding party, I'd only do what the people in KC did and trap morons that went in. There is no shortage of morons. No need to extend myself to the outskirts for the smart ppl.

I guess it’s hard to write an episode where someone makes all the correct decisions but still winds up in trouble. Of course, that doesn’t happen in real life either. If I’m Pedro though, I’m staying away from large cities.

The glass was weird to me too. Put that stuff down the hallway, not in the same room.

well I certainly don't think putting it in the hallway would be smart either, as it would seem to give you away if someone was familiar with that building

the smartest thing to do would be to still put the glass in the apartment, but sleep in a separate room with the door cracked

but either way, it seems like the 2 black kids were already in that apartment or know other ways around, so

I think they probably heard them laugh and waited for them to fall asleep.

People making questionable choices is the most realistic part of the show.

I keep laughing thinking about watching 10 hours of them keeping to country roads and avoiding contact with anybody playing “I spy” or something to kill the hours. Riveting television that would be.

Actually, the smart thing to do was barricade the door. The broken glass was a giveaway no matter what. They probably should have slept in a corridor so they can hear people coming up the stairs. Then they have outs.

Was there a reason he didn't just load up on guns? Throw all of Bills guns in the bed of the truck. That one rifle isn't going to do much for you. At least grab an AR with a 30 round clip if you're only going to grab one. Bolt action seems to be the weapon of choice though, that's what Bill was using in his shootout too.

We don't know the backstory behind that. Maybe it was dumb or maybe he had it coming.

A zombie apocalypse show filled with smart people that make the smartest decision in every situation isn't really the show I want to watch.

Who tf cares? Use the old trope of "you swore an oath to treat the injured" to the Dr and they are bound to help whomever. Works in every show.

Lazy. Sounds like she thought he had info on Henry's whereabouts and was using the gun to force a location. Seemed to be a scare tactic. It is when she saw the 3 dead guys she became irrational and killed him. She got into her feelings and killed someone who could have been essential to them. I am sure doctors are not plentiful around there.

Yes, it works. Maybe they did it because it works.

Goddamnit

I'd have to see Bill's armory again to verify, but it's entirely possible that if there were single action semiautomatic long gun options, the only reason to use bolt action is amount of available ammo.

Same thing with the revolver.

But also, we don’t have access to advanced weapons at this point in the game

Bolt would likely be a 308 if the availability thing was a thing. Even then you have AR10

But it’s likely we haven’t reached the level where semi auto is available yet

Maybe he did load up on guns. He has a truck bed full of stuff. Or, maybe he prefers a rifle with more stopping power. In episode 2, it took two shots to the head from an AR-15 to drop a Clicker.
