Honestly the game threads haven’t even really spoiled a ton, unless you consider people speculating certain events to occur in certain future episodes. That’s about it.

It could be one thread.

Agreed. It’s been pretty much the opposite of the GOT threads

I decided to not watch it on Sunday and find out, if it's one of those episodes. I've enjoyed the show without watching the two episodes, which really did nothing to further the story from what I was told.

Very brave.

While I did chuckle at that reply...I am cool with skipping something that might make a person uncomfortable as long as they don't try to ban other's from seeing it.

This was quite possibly the worst hour of tv I’ve ever had to sit through. fricking garbage for anyone not interested in the dialogue of teenage lesbians.

This was such a painfully boring episode.

The frank/bill episode i enjoyed, this was horrible

Oh no, the lesbians triggered another grown man!

How will they ever cope!!

Bunch of literal grown man babies in these threads

….If you all want pointless zombie action that is just there to service the attention span of 12 year olds that need constant stimulus go watch later seasons of The Walking Dead

WTF was that episode? The entire point was to shove the lesbian angle to the viewer? We know she was bit. So you spend 95% on the love story and 5% on the actual interesting part?

No, the entire point was to take the secondary lead away from the main one to give us deeper introspection into their character and what drives them outside(and within) that primary relationship. While also giving timeline background to Ellie, how she was bit, and set the dots for the audience to connect about how she ended up with the Fireflies.

You know, character development.

Personally if it were up to me, I think having the sequence done interlaced with her searching homes for something to help Joel in present day and creating it’s own tension there, maybe with a clicker, would have made for a tighter and more well-paced episode, but that’s a personal preference.

Completely agree. They could've given this background for Ellie with shorter flashbacks and spent more time in the present day. As soon as they walked in the mall, we all knew what was going to happen from the kiss to the zombie bite. The rest was just tedious. The Frank/ Bill episode was much better, probably because the actors were so much better. Bella Ramsey is the glaring weakness of this show, and Storm Reid seems like she should be on iCarly.

Episode 6 was so good and then this one was a snore fest, but good to see the back story of a Ellie’s bite.

This episode was kinda lame and really shows the acting disparity between Offerman and Murray Bartlett. I didn’t mind that episode and it was brilliantly acted.

Ramsey worked great in her native accent in GoT in more of a bit role. But her acting in this show is becoming grating and her unfortunate thumb face and pinched mouth is distracting.

They could have started the episode in the mall. The lead up was wasted time.

Most unrealistic part of the episode to me was newbies nailing MK2 Arcade fatalities on first attempts.
