I followed the directions posted in this thread 
and went in knowing nothing besides the cast and the run time.
I enjoyed it but not as much as some of you. I think this could get a look at Best Adapted Screenplay and I’d look for Ed Norton as a best supporting actor nominee, but I would be surprised if it got too much more than that.
A fun film though, and there were lots of laughs in the first 30-40 minutes.

Can we get a non-spoiler synopsis? The little log line deal in the OP is minuscule and I don’t want to watch the trailer if all the jokes are in it.

Honestly it’s hard to go into more detail without spoiling it. The whole movie happens in Wilde and Rogen’s apartment as they entertain Cruz and Norton for an impromptu dinner party.

Watching it now. If you liked movies by that neurotic actor/director Woody Allen, then this is your kind of movie.
If not, then it's not a movie you'll enjoy. I mean, it's a well directed play, put on film, with no set changes. None of the characters are really likeable. There's a lot of psuedo intellectualism, neuroses, smarmy wit, anger, and snootiness. New Yorkers and Hollywood types will love it, for certain.
