I feel like as you continue to watch the series, the scares and horror genre of this movie becomes the background of the bigger picture which is why the last episode wasn’t really meant to be “scary”

I’m just now getting around to watching this, and I’m really enjoying it.
I just finished episode 8, and the scene where Shelley & Theo are driving to the house to stop Luke and they are arguing when all of a sudden Nell appears between them in the car and screams....that shite got me real good. I literally yelled back at the tv, and that’s something I’ve never done before.
I don’t know if i was just in the perfect mood, and getting sucked in to their conversation, but I was not expecting that at all, and it has me shook. Lol

This series was sooo damn good.
Hope the 2nd season is as good as the first

I screamed. And I don't typically scream at those things. It was just really well placed because the series had set the precedent that it wasn't using jump scares in other episodes so you don't expect it.
