i watched the documentary this weekend and found it pretty interesting. i have no recollection of the original event, but i did recognize the meme. i dont understand why in the world of all the random shite that has gone viral over the years that this guy happens to be the one that so many people tried to latch onto to make their fortune. maybe it was just timing, and "going viral" was still a somewhat new phenomenon? it seems crazy to hear them talking about the Kardashians, having a reality tv show, getting him on Kimmel, etc, just for this one random incident that happened to get a decent amount of attention. what a bunch of bloodsuckers.
