Stumbled across this gem tonight. 2011 movie with Don Cheadle and Brendan Gleeson. Irish cop, FBI agent, international drug ring and local police corruption. Done sortve in the Guy Ritchie fashion. Really good and never even heard of it. Caught it on Starz not sure of other availability.

It’s absolutely hilarious. I can’t believe it flew under the radar.

Couple more popped up when I looked at Calvary:

The Wind that Shakes the Barley
In Bruges

Any opinions on those?

I was just operating under the assumption you had seen In Bruges.

Definitely watch that next. It’s the GOAT of GOATS. The wind that shakes the barley, from what I remember has nothing in common with the others in terms of tone. It’s a more serious straight forward historical drama.

But yeah, if you liked the guard watch In Bruges then Calvary.

Cheadle playing an Irish cop really showed his range as an actor.

Cheadle is FBI in the movie IIRC

Fantastic film that I watch once a year. Gleason is so good in it.

Both were very good but very different. Enjoyed In Bruges a bit more. Damn Gleeson is an enjoyable actor to watch.
