And unlimited funds.

At least they did try to touch on that by having Ms. Gray conveniently a billionaire.

We all know how billionaires are all so murderous.

No way. The cults on this show don't seem to have a clear process. Nick would have them running like a well oiled killing machine.

Why didn't the French chick kill the niece after she knocked her out? Just silly

What about after evil twin unloaded in Hardy's direction then collapses on the floor to mourn frenchie? Maybe I missed something but did Hardy decide to take a nap on the other side of the couch during that scene?

I know you guys are trying, but it's just not as bad as it used to be with Ryan cutting the FBI out of the loop. I even find the new cult less ridiculous than last year, at least this one has seemingly full on crazy people. I did find it hilarious in last night's episode though when Emma told Joe "these people are crazy" I know you have some sick and twisted fatherly love thing going with Joe, but he's brutally killed over 30 people himself.

Yeah that though. He's a civilian now. He would not be seeing the light of day for doing what he is doing.

Agreed on that front

I really dont get what they are trying with her character. Are we supposed to feel sorry for her or something? What purpose is she serving on the show right now?

Remember, HCIC (Head Chick in Charge) keeps threatening him "I'll have you locked up so quick it'll make your head swim!"
Which in this universe basically equates to The Honeymooners, "One of these days Alice, to the moon!"

Definitely not the sex appeal. Which she thinks she is.

It really is fantastic. And to boot he has agents following him who would arrest his arse for even going near someone closely connected to the case

But remember? He keeps shaking them as easily as you would shake a fly off you. He's got skillz like that.

Which I guess plays into the whole FBI is incompetent thing, so I guess it makes perfect sense for him to constantly lose 2 trained agents and have an unlimited supply of disposable phones.

Seems to me, I would just stake out the stores that sell those phones.

Who was the chick that called HCIC and said something about watching the baby?

Was that the cult member that just aided Joe?

Also, didnt Hardy tell people he was an FBI agent last episode?

Burner Phones = Harry Potter Invisibility Cloak. I'd be willing to bet his niece has her regular cell phone in her purse next to the burner phone.

Yes. The implication seems to be that the HCIC of the FBI and the girl that helped Joe are lesbian lovers with a baby. What are the odds that one of Joe's few remaining friends is attached to the person in charge of the current investigation?

Impersonating a federal agent is another thing they'll eventually put him in jail for.

Pretty strong odds in this show.

What if Hardy really is still an FBI agent and is now just undercover as a vigilante because the FBI has been compromised by the cult?

My closing post from my running commentary during the last episode:

Nice bonus in the preview for next episode. Mike saying " I think the FBI might be compromised."
