Really liked it. And damn. I hope the season thread will be as cool as our arrow thread. Cause I need some damn info about the mythos.

Man I thouroughly enjoyed that. Definitely liked it more than the arrow pilot which is saying a lot.

I'm wondering if the word "crisis" in the headline is a reference to one of (if not all) the the Crisis series in the comics. But it definitely shows that Wells has access to the future. I'm wondering if he is really someone else from the comics.

The effects were definitely impressive considering we are talking about a tv show. His speed is very well done.
When Barry made his guest appearance on the Arrow, I was kind of hesitant about his ability to carry his own show. But after seeing the pilot, I my hesitation has been put to rest. Gustin did a great job in the pilot. It looks like he will put his own stamp on the Barry Allen character just like Amell has put his own stamp on Oliver Queen.
It was a very impressive pilot, and the show has huge potential. I can't wait for the season to start.

When Barry first walks through star labs after he got his powers, they pass a cage that had the door broken open, and a sign that said "Grodd".

Yea but in the comics Prof. Zoom is from the future, Wells (who I'm guessing is Eobard Thawne) could just be a descendent of Eddie Thawne. Also concerning Eddie Thawne remember this is from the same guys that produce Arrow, they like to throw curve balls, remember in Arrow when everyone thought Tommy would become the Dark Archer?
