just because it happens in the comics that way, does it have to happen in the movie the exact same way?

when Bane says "You're punishment must be more severe." I got chills.

Cannot wait for this movie!!

In the comic, the beatdown/backbreak occurs in the Batcave (Bane had known Bats/Wayne were the same). That was not the Batcave.

Just because the comic did it one way doesn't mean the movie will.

This. What happened to Harvey Dent/Two-Face in The Dark Knight was pretty much what the Joker did to Commissioner Gordon in The Killing Joke. Only in The Dark Knight he succeeded in making Dent corrupt and crazy.

That's not the only reason I think it's JGL.

I'm not so sure about that. It seems that what Joker did to Dent in the movie was almost an accident. He just happened to be in the way when Joker was going after Batman. I haven't watch TDK in a while though, so maybe I'm forgetting something.

I think you are misremembering. His whole goal with Dent was to prove that even someone good and seemingly incorruptible could fall. The Joker admits it to Batman in their final scene together and Batman relays the message to Dent in the movie's final showdown in an attempt to get Two-Face to stand down.

Well this sort of confuses me. Why did he try to kill Dent then? And how did he know half of Dent's face would get burned up? And how did he know Batman would go after Dent instead of the girl? I'm confused as shite now

Told him the wrong addresses so batman would save dent by accident. Complete chance that his face got burned.

Oddly enough that's probably what drove him over the top.

This. The Joker saw Batman dive out of a freaking window to save Rachel Dawes and figured that Batman cared for her as much as Harvey Dent did. So he switched up the addresses on him so that Batman would accidentally save Dent while also pretty much insuring the death of Rachel. The Joker banked on Rachel's death sending Dent, and maybe even Batman, over the edge. His face getting burned off was merely chance.

Joker lied to Batman about which building Rachel/Harvey was in. He knew Batman would go after Rachel, so he told him that she was in the building that Harvey was actually in.

Yeah I remember now. I really need to rewatch both movies before the new one comes out.

The things that always annoyed me was that Joker said, "The way you threw yourself at her." When in reality Batman would have done that for anyone.

Also when they hit the car it would have killed both of them. I was hoping for a grapling gun to save them with the momentum almost ripping her out of his hands.

my only complaint about the movie. no need to have a free fall. couldve easily had SOMETHING slow down the fall to make it more believable.

Maybe, but Joker understands Batman like no one else does, so maybe he noticed something no one else did. I dunno.

Isn't his suit made of some hardcore stuff? Batman thinks of everything, brosef.

Doesn't matter what it's made of. The rapid speed then coming to a hault would kill them because of the G forges. Think of how Ernhart died. 200 to much slower speed very quickly, cause his skull to rupture.

Yeah, I got ya. I still do suspend belief a bit during movies like this, even if Batman is supposed to be more realistic than other comics.
