Before the comments turn to poli-shite...
Entertaining show, the performances were on-point for the most point. I’m tired of Jeff Daniels’ “smartest man in the room” performances, and this subdued, self-deprecating take on Comey was a nice change. The Trump impression was just a touch cartoonish but it wasn’t a total distraction. One-sided as it’s taken from Comey’s book. Worth a watch as one view of history.

A honest, and unflinching view of history includes the thoughts and perspective from the various actors on the stage , as it were.
There are, as its so often said, 3 sides to every story - our side, their side and what actually happened.
We almost never get to hear what actually happened.

I listened to James Comey deliver his Clinton vindication speech in July of 2016 and quickly came to the realization I was watching shite speak.

I won't watch something that's based on a blatant lie.
Same reason I won't watch "Saving Jessica Lynch". Even Lynch admitted under oath that she never fired a shot (the impact of the blast threw her head-first into the radio mount, knocking her out).

It’s a show about poli-shite though
And let’s not forget the actual facts of what actually happened. Something tells me they will forget to add in the fact that they used a fake dossier (real Russian disinformation btw) paid for by the DNC to actively spy on their political opponents.

The movies Hollywood are going to make about the Trump Presidency are going to look like Onion articles put to film. They're going to be straight cartoons.

You’re dumb if you didn’t expect this when you started this thread. Just about everything in that film is based on unprovable BS.

Entertaining show,
No doubt it's entertaining to liberal progressives who have no problem with the premise of the investigation being based on a lie aka a fake fabricated dossier.
And yea, this is bad and you should feel bad but I'm sure you don't.

As reviewers have pointed out it was a terrible Trump impersonation. The cadence and accent were all wrong and Trump does not speak like that.
This Trump was laying out long and complete sentences. Trump naturally speaks in short choppy sentences or sentence fragments. I'm not saying that to knock him, I'm just saying that has been his speaking style for decades. In public and private.
It would be like doing a Winston Churchill movie and having the actor speak in Cockney slang the entire time.

My God, you people even type in Trump's speech patterns.

That's nothing like Trump's speech pattern. And believe me, I know a thing or two about Trump's speech pattern. Some would say, experts maybe, that I know best. Probably even better than the experts.

Without blinking he told the American people that the FBI had a different set of criteria for determining a crime for a person like hillary clinton and for the rest of us.
He then walked into the oval office and blatantly lied to the president of the United States.
It's a hard pass for me on any medium that allows this creep to whitewash his egregious misdeeds.
