One of the best moments in the history of the show. Back when it was still kind of the wild wild west of reality shows.

Everyone was smashed drunk and Brad was at a breaking point because he knew his team had no chance of winning and there was nothing he could do about it. The Ruins is maybe the most lopsided season ever. Only Gauntlet 3 is close, but the bad team actually won the final b/c Big Easy died in the final.
I think the winning team on the Ruins was made up of John, Evan, Kenny, Derrick, and Susie. Darrell would have probably been there, too, but he was kicked off the show just before the final for the fight.
That team ran the final against Kelly Anne and Sarah Rice... That's it. And the girl team almost won.
The actual game of the challnge itself has so many flaws back in the day, but it was just so damn entertaining. It's like an entirely different show now.
Mark Long's OG Challenge show would be incredible because shite like the Brad-Darrell fight would still happen.

The best part of that is Derrick getting mad at Darrell. Dude, you were in the room watching and listening to Brad go insane and keep pushing and pushing ans didn’t do anything at all. Evan was the only one who even tried to get in his way and even that was a piss poor effort. So spare me the “frick, Darrell!” shite when you didn’t do shite to stop it.

The "cancel culture" has to stop. I just watched the RW Key West season, which was Johnny Bananas first run on MTV. By MTV standards now, he shouldn't be on any show if they are kicking out the Georgia's, Bear's, Turbo's, Jordan's, Nia's, Kenny's, Evan's, Camille's....etc. Bananas was a PR nightmare that season. He rode Paula hard and his go to insult was about her eating disorder. Tyler was also on that season, and while I don't blame him for lashing out at Tyler, Bananas openly made homophobic slurs against him during arguments.
Either they all go and ban them all or MTV needs to stop being polite and start being real....

Holy shite, Lio talked all that shitbon day one then he bails after like 5 episodes. And then he blames some group home "trigger" bullshite.
Incredible. He pussed out. He wanted to go home. He missed his wife. The Challenge kicked his arse.
And then fricking TJ makes some "metal health" excuse after chastising folks for 15 years over doing the exact same things. What an absolute joke.
And Kam, what the absolute fuk does someone's skin color have anything to do with breaking down and getting homesick on a challenge? Geezus...
Basically everyone who has ever quit the show did it because they were at a breaking point of some kind, and they all got raked over the coals as "quitters", and many many of them never returned to the show.
There have been obvious instances of former players with serious addiction and mental problems staying in the house unnecessarily because they didn't want to "quit" the show out of fear of never being asked back again. Dan was a full blown alcoholic on The Island and fricking Tanya should have never ever been invited on the show with her mental instabilities, but they were both higighted extensively back in the day because they made for good disiater television.
Lio obviously broke mentally. Don't blame him, but he did. Not even saying most people wouldn'tz but he's just another in a long line of people who couldn't cut it in the challenge house, especially recently where the house is been almost like a prison.
In a way, it just shows that he's a normal person and that all the longtime stars of the show, especially those who love coming into the house, are probably the ones who are actually severly mentally unstable. Ashley, CT, Devin, Bear, Nany and many others have all have a long, well documented history of crazy.

It's crystal clear why Lolo is single. She's a fricking Olympic athlete and she needs to be motivated to jog? She was also whining about her shoulder. And agree with the posts above Kam is beyond annoying. Literally everything is because of race to her it seems. TJ is pissing me off too...he mocked Josh for crying but all the sudden he's worried about people's mental health?

Just came to say the exact same thing about Lolo.
Just imagine those same "I'm on an Olympic team" talks if you were her boyfriend/husband. That kind of shite is total deal breaker, especially with other peeple around her age who just aren't going to put up with that kind of stuff that far into adulthood.
That's the stuff you tolerate when you're 19 b/c you're a young dumb horny dumbass, but when you're 32, that's the shite that dudes just ain't going to pursue longterm.
Nam seems like the most stable dude on the challenge. Lolo is low key probably the craziest.
Theresa is also playing a weird game. She has a real history of being a sneeky player, but we're deep in the game and there's a layup on the board and you need a skull. Go in and get it.
Now, by lying up everyone, she's put a huge target on her back and has no skull to even show for it.
I'd at least want the skull and not make any ripples by putting in the nose ring girl (can't even remember her name).
You can't win a final if you don't get to participate.
I also can't tell whom I dislike more, Ashley or Kam. Both are equally atrocious personalities.
I also really like Mechie. He's funny and seems to just kind of lay low and play the game. It's pretty amazing he's made it this far with his partner.

I think she made a smart move, to be honest. She's aligning herself with the rookie girls to throw two threats in against each other. If they can win challenges enough to do that another time or two then Theresa can pick off the rookies for her skull, all of whom she should easily beat. She had the numbers on her side to get Ashley thrown in, so she should be able to keep those numbers.
Now, it might end up biting Jay in the arse, but I also think he's the kind of guy that isn't afraid to go into elimination to get his skull, especially if he can get a shot at Josh or Mechie.

There must have been some legit depression issues going on there more than just being homesick. And that's no joke, if he was legit suicidal or something then going home is the right move.
That's a lot different than Ashley quitting because the airline lost her luggage.

I like how she played it, but we're getting to the point in the season that if you are on top and don't have a skull, you'd better have a damned good answer for why you don't step up to go in to get one, especially when the compromised agents are the ones you begged the entire house to put in.

She'll make it to the final and get sent home because she never even had a chance to get a skull. That's certainly a possibility, but I also wouldn't be surprised at all if the rookies and/or Theresa use her to do some dirty work and hopefully take out Kam, Nany, or Kaycee.
Also at some point they have to be good at a challenge. I'm amazed at how poorly they did on that last one.
