Just here for the game day bump

I'm actually gonna be watching this fairly close to real time. I'm giving it about 15 more minutes or so and then I'm starting it (to avoid commercials).

butthole talk and a fight in the first 10 minutes

I love how the guys just sit back for the most part and watch the girl drama bullshite all the time. It has to be so entertaining to just be a fly on the wall in houses on these shows. And come to find out it was all just some big misunderstanding and was literally nothing. Of course.
Nicole likes the douche fig Nate. Of course.
All these ATtO kids are fricking idiots. Every one of them. This is why they shouldn't be on the show. MTV forever dropped the ball when they didn't merge a Jersey Shore in with the Challenge.
When KellyAnne is the smart, same one, there's something wrong with that.
I love that they're arguing about who's show is better when they are both terrible, shitty reality shows.
Camila: "I have two motherfricking bachelor degrees, you son of a bitch."
Amanda: "Then why are you still here, girl?"
Point: Amanda
Tony in Jessica's bed.
Brandon wants to leave because "my girlfriend's sad." Holy fricking shite. Even more evidence that there AYtO kids shouldn't be here. They all suck.
And he's actually leaving??
TJ: "No more hugs. Let's go. Don't take care. Hope to see you never."
Nice.
Not near enough Jenna in this episode.
I don't like how they're editing the shows now. We don't even see the end of the challenge?

MTV seems to really be angeling for a full blown AYTO vs Real World Challenge to try to channel the old RW/RR challenge....but I think it's going to backfire. It's not 10+ yrs ago, and these kids came off a dating show...not an adventure show like Road Rules.
The AYTO people really seem to be there more for camera time and drama than the actual game and winning money, which the Road Rules people were all about. I'm not sure this whole AYTO experiment is going very well, nobody likes them, especially the viewers, and they drop like flies every challenge...not a good recipe. But it really doesn't matter if the ratings don't plummet, MTV will stay on course.
If I was the network I'd have a competition show where top 4 contestants make it onto the challenge. This fills all the blanks, it gives MTV another reality show, it weeds out the bad cast members, and the winners would come into the house at least respected a little bit.

So essentially a minor league of the challenge, where a higher percent of the contestants are shitty? sounds like a great idea.

They did that one Spring Break Challenge when Camilla won. I wouldn't mind seeing more of those.

Man, women fighting is so much less entertaining than guys fighting. And it just goes on and on.
Camilla is a true dumbass.
Brandon is about as interesting as a washrag. What a douche. One of those people that are incredibly arrogant with no basis whatsoever.
The house party seemed a bit awkward, even before the catfights.

Looks like they may have to edit it that way to stretch it out to a full season since they're losing so many contestants without having eliminations.
Posted on 5/26/16 at 2:12 pm to TotesMcGotes
Maybe so. But in the previews for next week they are bringing in more replacements. So the number of people should still be the same.

That's my biggest complaint as well. I wanna see partying/drama into the challenge into decision making/party/drama into the elimination.
I understand the occasional cut off the elimination to show it next week just because that's what tv does. But this has been terrible format wise.
I'll defend new cast members again. They are no different than any other shitty cast members in this shows history. People are still just butthurt that they are from a different show for no reason. Every single season has shitty teams, people who quit, dumb girl drama, etc...

It's not "new cast members" that I have a problem with. It's the AYtO kids specifically.
They just need to do another Fresh Meat challenge, and that should solve the issue really.
Also, what happened to the ratings numbers being down on the challenge shows? I thought it was basically on the verge of cancellation a year or two ago. Has that changed or has the show's ratings rebounded or something?
Posted on 5/26/16 at 3:21 pm to CocomoLSU
MTV's ratings are way down across the board.

That Brandon kid has to be the biggest bitch in Chalenge history, loved it when every cast member ridiculed him. Oh and TJ cursing? That took me back

If they would just do what everybody has been wanting for years and get a "best of the best" show I guarantee the ratings would be high.

This freckles Mcgee might be the biggest train wreck ever. She'll be involved in some domestic abuse double homicide within five years.

Anyone else feel like the last 2 episodes have been super short?
Posted on 5/27/16 at 7:57 am to Parallax
I was incredibly bummed out when I saw my DVR had two episodes, and the second one was just some BS interview show with Camila, Nicola, and Nany. frick YOU SKANKS!
Which makes the one episode that did air one of the most boring ever. A bunch of stupid women drama and then leave it hanging mid-challenge. And no one thinks that you're really hurt, Camila.
I did find it off that they were falling so close to the big barrel buoys. That could have ended up dangerous.

It was already dangerous because there was some random wire that Ashley managed to get tangled up in. That could have been a lot worse than a rope burn.
