Well, that was a fricking waste of time.
This film felt like it had potential, and just never got there.
And Tiffany Haddish should never be let in to another movie set. My 12 year old niece can out act her.

Exactly how I felt
Thought it was gonna be about him actually gambling and playing cards
He just walks away from the poker tournament .
Then the ending. Not sure what all happened there .
Total waste of time for sure .
You’re right about Haddish, I couldn’t take her seriously .

Watched the trailer last week and said there is no way I’m watching that turd due to her terrible acting in that brief clip

The movie spends more time explaining how to count cards than actual card counting in the movie .

Movie was all over the place.

One of the worst movies I’ve ever seen and I’m not exaggerating.

damn I hate to hear that - was hoping it was good because of Oscar

Generally sums up my thoughts on this movie pretty well.

Yeah I found it incredibly boring and tedious personally
A movie about a disgraced military officer and the world of staked gambling, and they decided to make a large chunk of this movie about a really weird romance between him and Tiffany Haddish. Which honestly haddish wasn’t overtly bad, but her voice and presence is so obvious it kind of takes away from the entire tone and out of the movie, you keep waiting for her to break into her standup act

Same. I was pretty excited for this movie being that I'm a fan of poker. Not much poker in it at all. Lots of opportunity to make this a good movie but like the poster above me said, it became some weird love story that seemed out of place.

just awful
Isaac is great and makes sense for the first half.
Its like they cut out the entire 3rd act. I dont even know what the point of the film was? I could not even describe it to a friend. Its poker, but angsty former military, some crazy kid, Jackie Brown (thought she was going to end up being CIA or something), then roll the credits. I stood up from the couch thinking theres no way thats a real movie
