Not me. I am really liking it so far. The first 2 episodes are clearly "set up" episodes.

I agree. I think they did a horrible job of casting the lead role. She seems so out of place working for El Paso PD and I don't find her personal story all that interesting so far. The last episode did pick up near the end when they stopped focusing on her and focused back on the murders. I was pretty close to kicking it off the DVR schedule before that.

I'm intrigued, I want to see how this plays out.
I also want to see more Asperger sex

Yeah I find her more annoying than anything which with her disorder means she is playing it correctly, I guess I just dont like what they are doing with the character. And I feel nothing for any of the characters so far.

I also cant stand how in shows characters will go from speaking english to spanish from sentence to sentence sometimes. If it's spanish just go with it and use subtitles.

Bilingual latinos do this a lot IRL though.

It really isn't her disorder that is bothering me the most, although some aspects of it make her unlikeable. My main problem is that the lead detective in an El Paso precinct covering the main border entrance is a blond with a German accent. I suspect her back story is going to be her sister got killed in El Paso, she came to investigate and impressed/harassed the captain so much he gave her a job, but her interaction with Juarez PD made her seem very unfamiliar with them, like she's pretty new to the area. How is she working such a big case if she's so new? She just doesn't fit. Replace her with a character that was born and raised in El Paso, or even America, and I probably can have an easier time accepting her.

I'm waiting on Lyle Lovett to bring me a pot full of "beans". I liked ep 2 more than the opener. I don't have a real issue with Kruger, everyone on the show can't be down home country or Hispanic, and those put off by the Asperger driven behavior are going to be irritated with any actor in the role. Her tunnel vision/narrow focus may make her a better investigator than others who may be more well rounded in the role.

Whites, 80.8%
Ethnicity 86.6% Hispanic or Latino

Dial it down to the composition of law enforcement in EP and we will be getting somewhere. Better yet, how many female German whites????
