I know the characters are from the graphic novel, and though Stormfront has been gender swapped , was still an actual Nazi.
Also wanted to point out the girl fight scene, where Maeve, Starlight and Kimiko are all kicking Stormfront, beating her, while she's on the ground. Just like the Antifa goons preach doing to anyone who isn't them ( aka Nazi ) Women get it done! #TimesUp , #MeToo
Also, at the end when Hughie is at the Congresswoman's office, there's a 'RESIST' sign, outside her door.
It's not like they're trying to hide their messaging. Just making a note of it is all.

Oh, she's absolutely right , in everything she said. Duh!
I'm not making anything political, just observing and taking note of current events. Stormfront never wasn't a Nazi. That's not the point. Don't get all sideways just because I don't hate on Nazis and only Nazis. I just don't fall for the gimmick that they're the only bad things in the world.

I got ya. In light of current events, the Nazi angle might be trite. . . but since it’s in the comic and since the Nazis do provide a good backdrop for experiments like compound V, as another person pointed out, it makes sense in this show.

Doesn't have to be in the comics, but is there any reference to Jessie Owens ? Seems dominating the 'master race ' at the '38 Olympics would be a natural tie in to wanting to create compound V in the first place.

The frick are you talking about? This show has made a villain of a Jihadi supe, a big pharma executive, a literal Nazi, a Superman stand-in and now an AOC clone. There are bad people everywhere and that's their point. If you're triggered because one of the bad guys is a Nazi then you have serious issues.

Yeah, I'm soo ' triggered' by this show. Good grief, you're so fragile you can't take anyone making a causal observation w/ out having to retreat to your safe space? I did reference the RESIST sign outside of the Congresswoman's office, and yeah, I get that she could be seen as an AOC clone ( long dark hair, attractive , young, darker skinned, etc. ) but I didn't feel the need to go there.

I’d also like to say, if it bothers you that this show takes current events/political climates into account when it’s a show that is rooted in current times/political climates by its nature then it’s probably not the show for you.
They’ve literally taken on racism, rape, religion, and politics since the very first episode. They’ve addressed the twisted shite that comes from being a celebrity. Compound V is rooted in genetic mutation and performance enhancing drugs, which is a whole other politically rooted commentary as well.
Being bothered that they kicked the shite out of a literal Nazi just kind of shows what’s in your headspace.

Also the idea that they are making Nazis “the only bad thing in the world” is wrong here. Homelander is definitely the worst and he’s not a Nazi, the Senator seems like she’s probably a Left wing politician, she’s a bad guy.

There is no 'issue'. Stormfront IS a Nazi. That's from the comic. Which first came out back in '06, I believe. I'm not even commenting on the gender swap, as I think it works for the show. ( Haven't read the comics, so fans of that story may disagree )
I just noted that the scene of the 3 girls kicking Stormfront while on the ground mirrors what we've seen happen here lately, where thugs acting like self righteous virtue signaling paragons of justice talk about and actually have attacked people THEY accuse of being Nazis. Whether they were Nazis or not.
Not sure how this is hard to follow.

I'm an atheist, btw, but even I can see that disparaging religion and painting it all as evil can end up in a really bad place for a country.

This fear of Nazis, who were defeated long before everyone here was even born, as being something we have to deal with in 2020 seems laughable to me. Sure, it works for make believe story telling, like The Boys, but in real life ? C'mon, man!
