It was great. Saw it on Amazon tonight with the wife. Well thought out movie. If you haven't seen it, find time to.

the image below make it seem creepy, which it is... but the main plot is that Hawke is a kidnapper in the '70s, and his psychic sister and the ghosts of previous victims communicate through the black phone in the basement that he's being kept alive in.

It was fine but wasn't really a horror movie. Psychological thriller? Sure.

I have issue with the bullying in the movie. Those kids would be hospitalized or dead with how viciously they attacked each other.

Finch, your plot synopsis in the OP is loaded with spoilers. If I hadn't already seen it, I'd be fvckin' pissed.

Edit that out to something generic like "While the movie poster makes it look like it's just another a creepy horror, it's more of a pschological thriller with supernatural elements."

fvckin

I asked someone else who does this and didn’t get a response: what’s the purpose of spelling it this way?

I guess I just don't like seeing "fricking" which is what "fricking" turns into for signed-out lurkers. I have hardly ever used fricking in real conversations.

Have you seen the trailer? It basically says the same thing I did.
