I'm really liking Matthew Rhys. Great acting with Paige at the table

Yeah. That was menacing. Interesting how his and elizabeth's characters have sort of "flipped"

Love how she burned the letter at the end. Still fully committed to the cause.

her bringing the letter shows she would go against her country

I'm inclined to believe she intended to give him the letter, but then decided against it:

A) because it would have fricked him up; and
B) because it could potentially expose her family

That's my thought. More so because she realized it would eff him up. She saw he could have a nice life and adjust as well as could be expected. Throwing the soviet thing in would have just screwed with his mind.

Something else I was just thinking of. Remember Philip said the KGB was going to put someone on the children as a cover to try and watch them. Think that could be the girl she met in the bus?

So you'd give TD a 4/10 and Americans a 9/10?

Keep in mind Andy Greenwald loves the Americans and hates TD.

Presumably because the Americans portrays women in a positive way.

Even though all Nina's power comes from spreading her legs. Is it really that empowering to have her do that?

Similar to season 1 imo. Still very good, no dropoff like Homeland season 2.
