I remember reading an interview with the blonde Happy Gilmore lady who does Modern Family now who basically had the exact opppsite sentiments. She said something like - “I get offers to do artistic pictures sometimes. But I live 5 minutes from set, we shoot this big ensemble show where I only have to work four days a week and I get a million dollars an episode. Why would I want to give that all up for a $300,000 pay check for three months of work to fulfill some nonsensical artistic integrity?”

The movie rolls start drying up, she’ll be sucking dick again for a roll on this show

Movie rolls are almost as good as movie popcorn.

Well it looks like it is now Asian time to get an Aunt Viv and Harriet Winslow. You all know what I am talking about. Also the exec got to her. They can't have her distrusting the good will of people.

If you are having a bad day I understand saying frick and all that stuff. But she publicly went on twitter type it all out and cursed it then afterward hit a dislike on a congratulatory tweet for FOTB renewal. That took some real thought process.

I guess season six will have her role reduced in an effort to get her the time she need or whatever. I mean Eddie is growing up and it was his show focus to being with.

Celebrities honestly should leave Twitter. They always post before thinking about it

FOTB used to be really good but the kids are all too old now, it’s probably time to end it anyway

One in particular I remember is David Caruso.

I was going to mention David Caruso but I thought my post was getting a bit long in the tooth as is. You win one internet for the day sir.

We have all seen actors bail on successful TV series to make the next big step... and wind up wishing they had never left TV.

Shelley Long being the best example

The thing with female actresses, is that they have a much shorter shelf life than male actresses, in general, because they age quicker. They can no longer play the hot female love interest in most movies, so they have to take roles that cast older women like moms and bored housewives.

A great example!

Shelley Long had, I believe, two good movies, Night Shift (she wasn't that great but she did do a scene in her panties when her butt looked vaguely nice) and The Money Pit.. which was mostly carried by Tom Hanks. We can throw in Outrageous Fortune, but that was more carried by Bette Midler.

She was perfect in Cheers. Its why the last episode of Cheers was so bittersweet because she came back to reprise her role and she was right where she should be.

It is not a bad thing at all to be great TV actress. Sarah Michelle Gellar was great as Buffy and then set out for... well she did some movies but she was mainly upstaged by a CGI dog.

The grass is usually not greener.
