Gravity was more about the experience/special effects in a 3D theatre
Other than that I don't get the people saying it was the best movie this year

I am fine with Gravity winning technical awards, but it shouldn't win any acting awards or BP.
If it wins BP, it's gonna be a travesty with the great movies it is up against.

Glad Her won for Original Screenplay. Spike Jonze built his own future universe with so many details. Glad Hollywood is movie from Producer and Director worship to the hero pillars of film: Writers and Actors.

the average viewer has seen maybe one of these movies and is watching for entertainment. this has been very entertaining.

If not for the really solid supporting cast of nominated films, this year would fit right in with all the bullshite from 03-06.

Jurassic park is still a solid movie on a regular tv at home
Gravity is very meh outside of a 3D theatre
