Seems pretty obvious that it’s Richard with him not showing up at the meeting. I don’t think the mole on the biker side will be kept hidden but the FBI mole might. If we’re guessing at a surprise biker mole I’ll go with Donna the barmaid.

I enjoyed the first one. I know a lot of people don’t like him because of his beliefs, but if the show is good, I could look past it.

He’s been mostly good so far. The dinner table scene he was great but the drunk scene with his buddy he was off. Overacted a bit but that’s the only scene so far he’s done it.

Good call.

Think Snickerdoodle seems like the obvious pick for the FBI mole. Could also see it being Sir Crispy (I can’t trust that guy after seeing him in HoD ). But I could see the twist that it’s Aleah (man, that confession in that interrogation).

That whole bit about Crispy telling Snickerdoodle that she won’t freeze next time and calling her a good cop in the bar is gonna come back around for sure.

It’s gotta be Krispy right? I like what you said about him telling Snicker she won’t freeze, I think she’ll be the one to catch him and her not freezing will cap her redemption arc. Krispy’s speech dogging cops kind of sealed it for me, add that to his pessimistic faith views and I think that sets him up as a perfect foil for Tom who’s both cop and man of the cloth. Wouldn’t be surprised if Donna’s Krispy’s mother or relative.

Feels like it should be. Fair reminder though, we didn’t have any real idea of who the killer really was in Mare of Easttown at this point but there were a ton of red herrings. So it could be someone we don’t expect.

Would certainly be an interesting tie in.

Another good episode. And I agree with you, it's definitely Grasso.

ETA: My wife brought up an interesting theory to me. Maybe the mole is Aleah, and the story she told involves a member of the dark hearts.

Either the acting/writing is so obvious that it is crispy or it's good and they are just throwing you off. Everything he does just seems like he's overkill with his niceness and perfection on the job.

I'm leaning towards it being someone else other than him because I think his actions just make it too obvious.

And just a side note, most of the girls in this show are actually pretty, they are just dumbing them down.

Also, they went Friday Night Lights with he Emily character and went with a 26 year old to play an 18 year old.

Emilia Jones killed it this episode.

I'm not crazy about some of the actresses in this show. I don't think that they are that great. But Emilia Jones is doing a fantastic job in her role.

I don't think so. I think his Mom just wasn't great or something to that affect.

In the after show the actor mentions that the character has sympathy for Snickerdoodle because she reminds him of women in his life that have struggled and mentioned like his Mom. Thought that was interesting.

It almost feels too obvious.

Me and fiance talked about that this morning. She was in a pretty violent DV situation that had her writing her SSN on her shoes. Definitely curious how she got out of that situation and if she leaned on someone like the Dark Hearts to help.

I thought about this too but after they met with the other drug kingpin it made it seem they were more on the white supremacist side of things/anti dark skin folks. Maybe not white supremacist but definitely a "Yea yall are racist so I don't give a crap what kind of trouble yall are in" feel from that meeting.

Would have a hard time seeing one of them being someone she turned to simply because I don't think they'd take her in.

They really are and to your point it could be Aleah. We’ve gotten zero on her backstory other than the story she told in the interrogation.

I suspected that Aleah was bullshitting with her DV story, just trying to get the info she needed. Obviously I have no basis for thinking that besides a hunch.
