It's like Russell when it comes to Tony...they know how to be one of the final 2 or 3, they know how to find idols and manipulate people, but they burn bridges along the way
Tony is not quite as bad as Russell. But he has that typical northerner "look at me! Look at me!" need for attention. He could have made several of these moves with far less talking so as not to put himself on the skyline.

I think when Spencer stood up with an idol, Tony got a bit ticked that he wasn't the only one who had one and pulled it out out of pride and then quickly realized he made a dumb move and tried to say "oh I tricked you into not giving it to Jeremiah hardy har, this isn't real"

I really don't like the idea of this super idol. It gives Tony a get out of jail free card. The only way I would be cool with it is if the only way to get it would be through collecting a few clues that are earned through challenges. Basically, Tony now has to be voted out twice because he skirted camp duties for an afternoon.
I also agree that his huge ego got the best of him when Spencer played the idol. That would have been an epically bad move.

hopefully tony showing his idol will get the others in his alliance pissed enough to vote for him... of course this "super idol" means they have to do it twice.

Yeah, Russell was entertaining. Tony is just a bastard who thinks he knows everything. Although sometimes he is pretty funny. #spyshack
I'm pulling for Spencer and Woo is probably my 2nd favorite but I wish Spencer would've given his idol to Jeremiah and they could've got rid of Woo. Would've looked stupid if he were voted out, but would've been a huge game changer. Sitting on it one week and then giving it to an alliance member the next would've been a tough call to make and I would've never done it, but he could've thrown a major wrench into the majority's plans if he would've.
I just hope that Tony, Trish, or Kass don't win. Kass has to have everything her way or she doesn't go with it, which is similar to Tony. Something is going to have to give between those 2 at some point.
The super idol sucks. It's nice that you can't pass it off, but 95% of the time people don't pass them off so it is just too much power. I think having the jury vote would've been a nice twist for this different idol.
