Aaron's tribal was a really bad look with some of the crap he was saying to Janet.
Frick Aaron, he won't win every immunity challenge and they all know he is a huge threat. Hope they blindside his smug arse.

Watching this morning, Kellee WTF? Why in the world do you tell Noura about your plan? That's so dumb. Why include unnecessary people? At least her Dean vote gives her some plausible deniability. Nice find on the idol though.
And then shooting down Tommy's plans. At least hear him out, now they think something is up. You have to humor him at least.
And then straight into the Dan stuff... although it seems like Dan is a cringeworthy creep.
I think Lauren is the least likeable person left. Her telling Missy about a plan to vote her out... then you had best win immunity. As in, I have your back, but not really.
Dean really folded fast in that challenge for someone potentially on the chopping block. Seems like a pretty brutal challenge though. Aaron has been rock solid so far though. Just saw there has only been 25 minutes passed and down to 2. I remember some challenges early seasons would go for hours.
Still no Sandra and Boston Rob this episode... they have been such an afterthought this season for being hyped as the idols.
Seems like this group has multiple targets in mind... wonder if Dean tells Kellee she's a target since he owes her a favor.
at Janet voting for Dan in an emotional decision instead of gameplay. Sounds like Dan hasn't really been as creepy as they make it seem.
I'm going to laugh my arse off if Kellee goes home with two idols. That would be a top ten bonehead play on this show.
Old school Survivor would be an easy few weeks to eliminate the old Lairo people first, but that's not how the game works anymore.
And there Kellee goes with two idols. Trust no one, bitch.
And now on to the second half...

You know it is a completely fricked up situation when Janet is the one apologizing and breaking down at the end when she did absolutely nothing wrong.
It was a low point in the show's history. That none of the women came to her defense was appalling. Lauren did somewhat, and she wasn't really all that involved in the situation.
Sadly, integrity doesn't always benefit you in this game.

All of this Dan stuff is getting annoying. Pretty shitty of the girls to accuse Dan, then backtrack, then say yeah, come on... either the dude was inappropriate or not.
Oh hey Rob and Sandra. About time. Good on Dean for seeing right through that terrible fake advantage. He needs to make a public show of it though at Tribal to prove Jamal was full of shite. Jamal should have just kept that in his pocket, or hid it for someone to find randomly.
Love this challenge. Aaron and Elizabeth should win. The heavier people have no shot.
Can't believe Stabbyhands made it past the first 5 minutes.
Aaron is putting a target on his back here, and he's not seeminglyin danger currently. Dude is going to be a huge threat to get voted out once he loses. Looks like I was half right on my predictions.
Smart to split the vote. Always split when you have the numbers and the trust.
Aaron, man, shut up. Digging your grave here. Not this week, but for the future. I hope Jamal's preachy arse gets voted out now. Dan really seems self-unaware about how he makes others feel. Dammit, Janet, don't be a quitter!
Another wasted idol. I assume it was Jamal and Stabbyhands that voted for Janet.
At this point I don't know who is going to win.
Honestly I think I like Elayne as the favorite. She seems to be playing the best under the radar game and has no enemies.

Yeah, really bad look for Missy and Elizabeth at that tribal. They had every opportunity to try to make things right for Janet and said nothing.

I wish Jeff would’ve told Jamal to “be sure not to leave with that Survivor durag.”

Yeah, all time frick up.
Especially knowing she was in the mix. It's not like it was a total blindside. She could have sent Dan home right there but she got cocky and trusted too much.
Also, I think a good move by Dean to keep it quiet. He owed her, but on Survivor you never really owe anyone.
Well, except Dreamz. That dude owes Yau-Man a truck.

you saw an edited version, we didn't see the entire thing...they edited shows to create drama...these girls could have been touching him and leading him on but we don't see that...

Kellee using the situation as a game play was fricked up and cheapens her alleged victimhood, as well as the victimhood of actual victims in similar situations.
This is why I do not think Kellee's space being "violated" was genuine and think she is a sick individual playing the #metoo card in a game when that is something that can ruin a person's life...

I’m not going to lie, I have zero clue WTF is going on this season
Seriously, I never know who is aligned or why people are voting the way they are or who is in power. I think a lot of that got cleared up with this tribal, although I’m sure it’s all going to be turned upside again next week so I’ll be lost again.
It’s honestly kind of compelling in that way.
As for the social stuff that everyone is complaining about, I see this all very differently I think. I think we should all be able to agree that Dan is a touchy old guy that means no harm but is annoying to the girls to different degrees. But I do think if any of us had wives, sisters, moms etc in the position of those girls we would be like hey dude GTFO of here with your grabby-hands
That said, I think the girls have come off horribly and are being shown to be taking advantage of the power of accusation and they are going to be called on it loudly at the live finale after Dan, Janet, and Kelli have seen the show.
Janet is the hero here, and they have shown her and her thought process to be the guiding light imo that these young girls simply don’t understand or care about.
Liz and especially Missy, who is 100% reveling in this, and even bumpkin have all been shown 100% to be crying wolf and manipulating the people against Dan and Janet without any care or concern for how their lies could harm Dan in the real world.
Kelli seemed to be the only one that was genuinely uncomfortable with Dan, she genuinely didn’t want contact from the first episode, and yet she said she was able to put that aside and not vote emotionally but strictly on game, so everyone is putting game first to different effect.
It’s actually pretty interesting to see play out. I don’t do social media so I don’t know how they are all being portrayed but I’d hope the mean girls are being called out.
The live show will be very interesting because Jeff clearly doesn’t like Dan and Dan is going to want his moment to defend himself. I imagine it getting pretty heated.
Janet is a treasure imo, wish she would have saved her idol.
Kind of a weird way for Jamal to go out, and damn he was PISSED. Can’t say I blame him but it was clearly just a matter of time for him. I liked the way he shut down dumbass Aaron but then he went on and on and lost me again with his preaching about women always having to be believed (when almost all of them were lying
)
Overall I find the season pretty tiring, just not much fun to be honest. Seeing Aaron, Missy, and ginger guy get cut will be fun hopefully. They are all annoying and I really think the only ones I can really say I like are Mother Janet and Dean, with Liz and Beck just ok and are at least not trying to completely throw Janet under the bus I guess.
ETA: Island of Idols is a terrible gimmick.

I don't...
It absolutely was. She made that clear in the first episode. Some people just don’t like contact. She seems to genuinely be that type of person imo.
That said, I do think that the other girls deceitfully playing up their discomfort to turn her and Dan against each other just fed into it and made it even more offensive to her than it probably would have if they all said nah he’s fine doesn’t bother us.
But when you think someone is making everyone else feel uncomfortable too it just makes it more urgent in your own mind like this guy is out of control and needs to be stopped. That mob mentality is real and dangerous and it’s what they used to draw Janet into all of this as well.
In that way the other girls are victimizing her just as much or even more than Dan is.
Even more reason for them to get called out harshly.

The minute she weaponized it in game play killed it for me as it being genuine with her...if she truly had a problem with it she needed to take it to the Survivor staff during the first episode and its killed and it doesn't even make it into the show...
She comes off to me as this SJW that decided to use it for game play, win it all, then she comes back to the real world as this #metoo victim that was able to overcome the odds and win Survivor by being a "survivor"...
Posted on 11/14/19 at 8:39 pm to LSURulzSEC
But she didn’t even want to vote Dan out.
She said she was putting it aside and wanted Missy out.
Missy was the main culprit that weaponized it. Liz and Elaine went along with it but Missy was the one that sat there working her up over it to then get all the other girls on board.
Interesting too that it was actually Jamal, who also weaponized it, that went to Janet with the idea of Dan.

That's my entire problem with it. I can appreciate the tightrope they may have to walk in this game. Calling Dan out could have the unintended consequences of making them the target. And honestly, that's an issue in real life as well, but I digress. I can also respect Kellee's decision to put game over her comfort. She lost me when she started rallying the troops against Dan, then used that as a smokescreen to vote out Missy. Missy shares some blame for fueling the Dan resentment, but I can't really blame her much for turning on Kellee when she found out about Kellee's plan. I do blame her for not owning it when Janet confronted her.
As for Elizabeth, I never got the sense that Dan's touching made her uncomfortable, so I don't really have any strong feelings on how she handled it. Sure, she fueled it somewhat by engaging with Missy and Kellee on it, but I don't think she ever had any intention of voting Dan out.
Posted on 11/15/19 at 11:09 am to The Spleen
I think Kellee was genuinely put off by Dan, but still was thinking clearly that Missy was the bigger threat in the game and was at first going to vote logically instead of emotionally.
Then Missy got word that Kellee was gunning for her... this is after Kellee and Missy talked for a while about the whole Dan awkwardness. So Missy decided that the best play for her and Elizabeth as allies would be to go to Janet with the Dan talk and see if they could put the target on Dan's back instead of hers. I assume she correctly figured Kellee would be all on board to vote for Dan and would drop the Missy plan. Missy even told Elizabeth to go to Janet as a mother/daughter sort of talk and tell her how Dan has made her uncomfortable.
And then somewhere in there, after Missy and Elizabeth talk to Janet, Jamal comes up with the idea that they should vote for Dan, and Janet is all on board because she feels like she's protecting the younger girls.
Of course, Missy and Elizabeth have then gone to Dan and the rest of that bigger alliance including Elayne, Lauren, Tommy, Aaron, and Dean and said that they think Kellee is the threat and they should all vote for her.
Honestly I think Missy comes out looking the worst as it was originally her idea to use Dan's inappropriate touching as a gameplay weapon, then Elizabeth for going along with it and lying to Janet about it, then lying to Dan. Lying is part of Survivor obviously, but it crosses a line when it's something that could really affect a person's real life. Fortunately the interviews and such were all more honest so I don't think Dan comes out looking like a total perv. He's awkward, sure, and probably did cross some lines, but he's not as bad as some thought.

I think I need to re-watch the episode as my chronology may be wrong, or I'm just forgetting some events. My memory is Kellee being the ringleader, Missy going right along with it, and Elizabeth mostly being an accessory to their plots. Then Kellee first recognized it as an opportunity to get Missy out.
Posted on 11/15/19 at 1:09 pm to The Spleen
Kellee spurred the production intervention, but she still wanted to target Missy until she learned that Janet and others were targeting Dan.
From what I remember.
