This edition features two legendary winners, "Boston" Rob Mariano and Sandra Diaz-Twine, who return to the game not to compete, but to serve as mentors to a group of 20 new players.

I don't know how to feel about this one. Not sure I will like the format but of course will watch and see.

I'm not so sure that is their main goals anymore. Eye candy was definitely a big part for a long time but at this point the people that are going to watch are the same consistent fans. I don't think lacking eye candy will turn anyone away at first.
But it is a risk because if the season blows and you took that risk you will lose a portion of the faithful quicker.

The eye candy was always just gravy to me. It's still my favorite show regardless of any lack of eye candy.

either all former players are all new players I understand they want to keep it fresh with "new" ideas but they are not hitting a good percentage on those ideas.
That said I'm looking forward to both of them actually playing next year in the winners only game.

Boston Rob and Sandra are not actually contestants but are mentors. Still not sure I like the idea though. Sandra is hard to handle for me.
