Yep, everything you said is spot on. If Devens makes it to the final 3, he wins. No one has done anything even close to deserve it. Gavin is definitely in the 2 spot.

I don't think they could chance not believing his bluff. I was like there is no way he is giving her that idol but stranger things have happened.

Normally I'd agree, but I think they've been used very well this season to add suspense and intrigue.


This season was pretty boring until the last few weeks. Devens getting out of so many jams has been awesome to watch. He's running laps around everyone else left in the game. I was dying laughing at him running around the island while they chased him. Hope he can keep it going and win the thing.

It sounded like in the previews the only was someone from EOE gets back in the game is winning the immunity challenge, but maybe that's just another head fake from the producers.

And gatdamn can Lauren's little bikini bottoms be any smaller? Such a distraction while I'm trying to watch.

So, while the dweebs are all voting out the "challenge threats" and "strong players" they are actually building a Super Tribe that will take them on.

When I look at the "Jury" vs the "Players", I think...'hell, I'd rather watch the Jury tribe going at it.

I was thinking this too. The jury has all of the interesting players. The biggest downfall to the way the game is setup is that "threats" are voted out so early on, but I guess it makes the most sense. Guys like Joe never have a chance unless they do something like next week and they bring him back into the game in the last vote.

Even then, how is anyone going to win coming back from Extinction after not voting in tribals or being a part of the game for however many days? I can't see that person getting a ton of votes. Devens wins in a landslide if he can get there, and I think he will.

Since both Aubry and Wentworth both went to EOE with idols in their pockets, don't those idols technically "go back into the game"? That would be my only guess as to why Devens found two of them in the last few weeks.

Typically they start with one at each beach/camp, and if one is played then another one is hidden.

When they merge, there is one hidden at the merged camp... again if one is played then another one is hidden.

The first one Devens found was the merged camp idol, and then once he played it at tribal a new one was placed.

I was also thinking last week about the family showing up and still salute Johnny FairPlay. To lock in going on reward with the dead grandma line and needing more info is stuff of legends.
