re: Survivor 48

Finally got caught up all of the episodes. didn't want to read the thread and get spoiled.

Sai is just a really annoying person. She's very unlikeable, I don't get why anyone on either tribe would want to work with her. Needing help to figure out the idol container is pretty sad. And was dumb for other people to help her get an idol.

at the blindfold challenge. Go left go left! turns right. Later, go left go left!, wanders around in a circle.

I feel for Mitch but, why are they forcing so much screen time for him? An Jeff continuing to call on him n group situations seems to make him struggle even more.


I'm liking Eva. She seems like a good person. not sure how far she will make it. Hated to see her separated from the one person who knew about her condition. you could see her wringing her hands after the tribe swap.


Kudos to the purple team in that last challenge. The team with 4 women and on man won a pretty physical challenge.

The last tribal was really unusual. it was almost like explaining tie breakers in some sports.
sai should have gone home and i hope it bites cedreck. And justin should have made more of a case to stay. he played the nice guy against a person who would do/say anything to get what she wanted.

Charity, Bianca, Eva. Not horrible to look at.

Yeah, there really isn't a clear frontrunner. It will probably be someone unexpected who turns it on mid season. Kind of like Rachel last season.

Chrissy has gotten almost zero screen time.

Although I could see CBS doing something like having Eva and Mitch in the final 3. Mitch seems like a good guy. Normally you would think his speech problem would bit him in a finale but, sympathy goes a long way in today's Survivor.

Kamilla and Kyle made a big move they can point to later in the game as a key turning point if they get to Final tribal.

Stuntman David is growing his social network after the reorg so I think he’ll go deep in the game.

I think people will recognize Mitch as a threat later in the game and vote him out because his story is tough to beat.

In his podcast, Probst seemed bummed out that Thomas got booted and talked about how Thomas was great for the show. He even mentioned the idea that Thomas could come back as part of the Season 50 cast.

I said it as soon as he was out. He was very entertaining in interviews, seemed intelligent, got along well with people, and seemed devious. I was disappointed to see him go for those reasons. His exit was great, though. He really took the blindside well.

Obviously.

Villainous Richard Hatch winning season 1 of Survivor was one of the many reasons the show took off. He was gay.

Probst didn’t seem upset when trans Steph got booted first; maybe he only likes old school gays?

Anyway…Thomas was entertaining. He came to play and didn’t mind lying to help himself.

Evidently he did but the producers chose to cut that part out. Ticks me off when they show 15 minutes of Sai being stupid then cut something that we should have seen.

I can see Star being dragged along through game as she isn't annoying/ abrasive nor the threat level like Sai. It will be funny with her still trying to figure out that code for the idol after a few more tribals.

She isn’t very bright.

Joe and Eva do stand out. But seem like obvious threats. Sai will get in her own way (hopefully). Star will be drug along but appears to be too in the wind to win the game. Although that could be a purposeful edit by production.
