All had good speeches, but Kyle's and Kamilla telling them about the blind side of Shauhin and the surprise on all their faces will tip the win to Kyle.

But any of them could get the votes.

That's what I figured would happen. Surprised Joe didn't get more votes.

Kyle is the kind of winner I like so I'm okay with his win. I would have liked it better had he not taken Joe to FTC but ultimately I think it was the right read to understand the cast didn't value physical dominance like some other seasons might.

On a “normal” season Kyle does not make it to the merge. You can’t allow a smart athletic charmer to stay around for exactly this reason. This was such a weird season, I legitimately like almost everyone but I also hated the last 7 or so episodes and the ending was pretty lame.

One thing I really liked was Kamilla telling Kyle "I got you" when the topic of Shauhin came up.

Makes sense when the last thing they saw was Maria shitting all over Charlie in s46 in a very similar situation.

I’m glad Kyle won. I would have been okay with Joe winning but I think Kyle bringing Joe to FTC impressed people. I think Joe would have taken Eva.

Kyle and Kamilla both managed the jury and thought through what end moves were best for their games while Joe and Eva didn’t. I feel like we’ll see Joe again.

It was painful to watch Eva but, to their credit, neither Joe nor Kyle brought up the fact they considered taking her place making fire. If Joe was on the jury, I think Eva wins and vice versa but neither one was willing to sacrifice a spot at FTC to help the other.

At tribal? When Kyle was spilling the beans about this great move he and Kamilla had to get Shienn, Joe should chimed in.

At this point of the game I knew Shienn was gonna be the hardest to get out, and I knew damn well he had no Idol. But I’m gonna let these 2 act like they know something we don’t and vote him out. Because he has a very good chance to win.

Now he has squashed their best move and he’s won the Shienn vote.

Joe wins with a 30 seconds comment.

This is exactly how I feel. I pumped my fist when he was announced. Kyle deserved it most (or Kamilla if their roles were reversed). Joe would have been very deserving if they went that way.

Anybody but Eva. She went from maybe my most sympathetic and personal empathetic player I’ve ever seen into someone I couldn’t stand to see or listen to in barely a month’s time. She is not autistic. She does clearly have some super high debilitating level of anxiety evidently (if she’s not faking it). That’s not autism. She’s not Asperger’s either. No one with either could do that jury show that she did tonight.

Ohhh and she also ate again. She’s had more pasta on that island than I’ve eaten in the past 2 years. Probably the only contestant to gain weight on the island. They should give her a trophy for that.

Edit:
Joe could have actually been a very worthy winner. He got seemingly next to no speaking time at final tribal. And he didn’t do himself any favors when he did. I thought he would have been in game and on point… I didn’t see that coming. I think he basically just called himself “a stupid fireman” 3 times to end his speeches. Come on, Joe.

Yeah, agreed. I thought he would do better at final tribal given the chance.

He really needed Kamila to win at fire and Eva to be on the jury. He might win if that fire making flips.

Kyle definitely deserved to win. I think it might have been closer without the Kamila/Kyle reveal. Kamila served it up and Kyle crushed it. They played the whole time as a team and nobody really caught on. A few suspected it and were promptly voted out.

Also, Eva did much better in the final tribal than I thought she would. I thought she would get stressed out and fall apart. But, she actually did really well. She just didn't have the resume to win. After the first 2 responses mentioned her Autism, I was like, okay, let's get away from that and talk about actual game play. And she did, for the most part.

Joe would have been a deserving winner. He fell victim to having his "number 1" sitting beside him and having to share votes. Joe sitting next to Kyle and Kamila would have had a better chance with those 2 splitting votes.

Cedrick's reasoning really has nothing to do with the game. He voted for Joe because he's a devoted dad? That has nothing to do with the game itself.

Kyle made the best decision he could have made, making Kamila do the fire challenge. If she wins, maybe she gets more votes but, if she loses, she's a definite vote for him.

All in all it was a good season. Strong players. Strategic moves. And a few really annoying players which every season seems to have.

Glad to see I’m not the only one that felt that way.

My son is autistic, my wife taught ese students in 7th/8th grade. She doesnt watch Survivor with me. Saw Eva & said shes not autistic. The test has changed. Eva may be on lower spectrum in older testing methods. More of it comes easy for her its ok. Tough she just melts.

Your post is interesting because I’ve never been aware of being around an autistic kid or adult for any length of time and my only point of reference is Eva. To me, Eva is what autistic people are like but your experience makes me realize I was sort of lied to by CBS.

I think the network did a disservice to parents and their autistic kids by featuring Eva and her incredible achievements and parents wonder what’s wrong with their kid?

I think that might be why there was no mention of the tranny (allegedly) who was voted off first. Failing isn’t a good narrative.

That is what win it. The surprise on Joe and Eva's face and the jury told you that was the knockout punch.

Honestly, I think most of them gain weight anymore. They have a food challenge every day.

I also think Eva talking about all her accolades hurt her as well. I think it made the jury a bit suspicious, but I also think Kyle wins regardless.

Most autistic kids are sovially awkard, have their quirks. My son cant look at you when he talks. Cant tie shoe laces eiither. Turns 24 week. Some of the kids my wife had were violent. Mostly had to have a routine. One girl couldnt turn in work or homework. Constantly had to change answer. Would wear hole in paper. Idk any that could give a speech like she did at tribal.

I haven’t seen the finale yet(starting it now) so I’m not spoiling anything.

How the frick does Kyle get away with this shite?

This last move to get Joe and Eva to vote out their own goddamn teammate hurt the argument I’ve been wanting to make, but this guy has just been lying to everyone.

And not even close to an actual cunning, strategic way. He was a soft af emotional paranoid liar blowing shite up around him over and over.

I’m going to be so angry if he wins

Joe what the hell man? You were into the lie. Why didn’t you push it at all? What happened to that energy?

Kind of?

He was all over it, and then pussied out after flexing all over the screen
