Correct. They can't steal anything, just dig for info.
ETA: They often bury them for safekeeping until right before tribal. Someone like Sarah had no place to hide an idol on her person. And apparently if someone else finds it production steps in to let them know that it's claimed. So again, info obtained, but can't even claim finders keepers.

I think the producers put different notes in the two cages so the one that was read out loud said the coin was fake but Carolyn’s note (that she didn’t read out loud) said the coin was the real one.

I think it was supposed to set up what we can expect in the merge.
They had a showmance, a bromance, and a (can’t think of a rhyme for it) relationship between Josh and Yam Yam. Matt’s looking to be in a strong position and Carolyn is somehow under the radar but is definitely a player.
I’m interested to see how the groups shake out next week.

I feel like she’s met a lot of people and has had some crazy drug experiences in her life that have given her great instinct. She can read people and see ahead. Just gotta control her emotions

I am so glad to see Josh gone. Never liked the guy. Pissed me off that they didn't believe Carolyn when she said Josh didn't have an idol.
Carson doing that puzzle was amazing but I knew he had a similar puzzle at home that he worked on. I was happy that the purple team won as I don't really like the people on the other team. Except the one guy whose name I can't remember right now.
I know Jamie doesn't have a mirror and it's not her fault but the close-ups of her with her pimples makes me look away. I would be mortified watching the season back.

They didn't believe her at least partially because she's an ineffective communicator. Some players would be able to convince the group but not Carolyn.

I disagree, she put it out there but they didn’t want to believe it. After tribal, I’d bet they were thinking we should’ve listened to her. Her face is going to give her problems.

I hope they target Brandon and Danny now that they’re in the individual immunity phase. Brandon, especially, seems like a douche. But neither one has been given much time devoted to their personal story so they might be around for a while.
