I'm happy Tai's tribe won immunity because he was going to go home for being an idiot and looking for the immunity idol without a clue.

The guy was a lifeguard in Chicago and dove into water wearing a mask? I know why he wasn't in the brains group. Pollard pointed it out in tribal council. You don't have to hold the mask in place either, only jump feet first.

Didn't realize he was a lifeguard. I did find it funny when everybody's reaction to the black guy saying he would be diving was like, "you sure?," and then he dicks it up.

The thing that bothers me about last night's show was that it was a 3-3 tie with Alicia and Darnell voting and the "tie-breaker" was to vote again without them. Assuming neither voted for themselves the first time around, this is dumb as shite since if nobody changes their vote, it's a tie again. Given how little was said/explained about how the votes went down, I imagine there was a lot more discussion (and producer involvement) than we saw.

This is standard when there is a tie. Gives the others a chance to change their votes. If they go to another tie, they draw rocks (the other vote getters are then immune.)

Jason changed his vote at tribal (remember when he leaned over to ear lady?) but Scot and Ear Lady did not.

9 times out of 10, there won't be a second tie because it is too risky (rocks). It's a last ditch attempt whenever it happens.

More inside baseball from listening to many survivor podcasts. Most of the time, votes are already decided before everyone goes to tribal. Jason switching last night was an anomaly.

I guess that could explain it. I don't know why, but I thought if there was a second tie, they went to an immunity type challenge heads up. I haven't watched the show in several years, but my kids are into it now.

If there is a tie at final four, the two eligible people do a fire challenge, i.e.: whoever can make fire that burns a rope fastest.

Maybe Tai and Blondie are purposely on the wrong tribes as a twist. Maybe he's a brain and she's a beauty. Was there anyone else who seemed out of place?

I'm 99% sure that these gimmick seasons (brains/brawn/beauty, no collar/white collar/blue collar) only get finalized after they have picked their cast. I don't think they cast all these people with the idea that they were going to do BvBvB 2. For example, Tyler in Worlds Apart was originally going to be on the blue collar tribe, but they moved him to white collar after someone dropped out.

I couldn't stand Caleb on Big Brother while Amber was there. After she left, I actually started to like him. He'll be pretty entertaining.

She's pretty strong.

That nerdish statistician girl on the Brains tribe is cute as hell, and she was supposedly involved in card counting in blackjack. The article I saw didn't really go into details though.

I think Caleb will be more turned down this season

I can see being totally different in big brother and survivor. Big brother would freak me out with high blood pressure. Survivor would be a cool experience. So, I can imagine how a person could "act" differently in each.

I thought that was a twist too. Blondie should be on beauty team. Tai should be on brain team and older lady on brain team that knows everything should be on brawn team,

And the personal trainer dude seems like he should be on the brawn team.
