I bet after the events of man of steel, two companies involved in the recovery will come into possession of kryptonite - lexcorp and Wayne industries. Both will have their own reasons for having it as protection from and/or attack against superman.

How? Kryptonite was not present in the movie. I do believe that there will be a little bit of a rivalry between the two companies though. Would love to see Lex and Brainaic be the main villians. Love the similarities in it all.

Lex and Bruce are obvious business rivals and would be the human "fight"

Lex and Brainiac are much alike: Extremely intelligent, but have even bigger egos.

Superman and Brainiac are obviously Gods amongst men.

It will be great as long as it stars JGL and is directed by Nolan. The ending might be a little confusing, though.

I wouldn't mind Snyder taking the helm since I liked most of the direction that Man of Steel took also but I completely agree that if they don't use JGL as a continuation of Dark Knight Rises it would feel really odd.

Was there any Easter Eggs in the Man of Steel movie?

It's not difficult. It could have been involved in powering the world engine, or one of the ships. Unless they introduce a new superhuman villain as well as lex they need kryptonite. And I believe batman would be actively seeking a way to neutralize superman if needed.

Everything from the TDK trilogy ended with TDKR. There is no more to that universe on film. It's over, it's done, the story is complete.

I'll just leave this here:

quote:

Unfortunately, David S. Goyer and Henry Cavill didn't let slip any huge details about the recently announced Batman/Superman movie, but did reveal that they have yet to decide on a title for the Man of Steel sequel. "We don't know what we're going to call it yet — 'Superman vs. Batman,' 'Batman vs. Superman,' — but those two guys on screen, that's happening." World's Finest seems to be a popular choice among many fans, but that may not be the best title to help sell this movie to regular moviegoers. What would you guys like them to choose? When Goyer was asked whether or not he was surprised about the backlash surrounding Superman breaking General Zod's neck at the end of Man of Steel, he replied: "To a certain extent, Superman, cinematically, hadn't been reinvented since the Donner films. We will be dealing it with the coming film. He's not fully formed in [Man of Steel]. He will have to deal with the repercussions in the next film."

There will have to be kryptonite for Batman to do anything other than be a meaningless gnat to Superman. And kryptonite is dumb

Do you know of a better director for a movie that has a massive size and scope and that necessitates amazing action setpieces?

I'm heavily leaning towards the later.
Me too. I think I'm just going to quit the super hero movies for now. They're going to run every formula into the ground and pair and group characters up until we get fed up and quit going. For me, that time is now.
