King has his problems, but at least he gets across the finish line.
For me, the best book to film King story is The Body to Stand By Me. His early work is amazing. His later stuff is hit or miss, mostly miss.
The Stand is perfect to me.
IT is a great story if you overlook the Ritual of Chud.

I didn’t love that part. And I didn’t love just how wonky the series got. I think a more focused series without so much world hopping would’ve been great.
